Its not a discount if you have to buy a bunch of crap no one wants or already has. Then its just a markup.

A mark up is just that, increased price for no added value. Yeah, you may not want the space wolves or other orks, but they do have some value (which you can extract out of them easily in the reseller market), but it is not a simple mark up.

I guess most people with the boxed set will end up paying less for ghazi's if they sell on everything else in the box set than his single unit cost will be when he is finally released individually.

I also think you may be underestimating the amount of people on the other side that will want Ragnar also, there's plenty of space wolf players out there that will want him.

I'd much rather pay a net 10$ more to get exactly what I want than save 10 $ having to sell off 4-5 different items I didn't want in the first place. Selling takes time and effort and you will have to sell those things at a discount to get rid of them, considering the market will be oversaturated with them once the box drops.

These bundles should be optional and not the base product.

sure except Gulliman, Magnus and Mortarian are all also Lords of War, Ghaz is a HQ. realisticly he's more a intermediate step between a Primarch and a chaptermaster

i EXPECT RAGNAR TO GO FOR WHAT ALL THE NEW PRIMARIS CHARACTERS ARE GOING FOR AND Ghaz to be about the price of Gulliman or Abaddon.

So I assume all the ork players are happy to buy this box to do "their bit" to show how xenos armies are selling so maybe possibly they will get some new models eh??? ..

I'll proably buy the box myself assuming it's not insanely over priced. Ghaz has me tempted to build an ork army (I've got the models from ABR sitting around unused) and I could actually use some incursors.

Which matters approximately not at all in regard of the similarities I pointed out before.

At £140, with a 20% discount = £112, I have zero interest in this.

Yeah I wouldn’t mind at all if it was a discount box for those who want the units, and then Ghaz/Ragnar sold separately for their usual price. That’s a choice between the figure you want or an expansion to your army for a discount. I don’t want these added units, I just want Ghaz and won’t use these added units which ends up with a lot of wasted plastic and money.
It’s a marketing scheme to make people spend more money for the awesome new characters with an illusion of a discount.

Selling the Incursors isn't an issue. They're a pretty solid unit for many SM armies. I have 2x5 for my Ravenguard (plus 10 Infiltrators) and I want at least one more squad of 5, plus 2x5 for my Dark Angels. Can't vouch for the Orks.as I'm unfamiliar with the army in general.

yeah having any kind of marines in your box is a boon. Don't even need to split with anyone and can count on selling with no probs. Unlike how many vypers and falcons are lingering around on ebay.

I'm glad it is generic phobos with ragnar and not something more specific like 5 wulfen and 5 pack. And I agree that hopefully this will mean cheap meganobz on Ebay. Been wanting some more in plastic, but not at full price.

They appear to be the full kit Infiltrators/Incursors. None of the models are throwing a smoke grenade nor does the Helix Adept is shown or doesn't appear to have the two vacuum tube things on his pipboy. Also the squad leader hair cut is wrong. I still can't quite tell as I have brought out my space marines in a while and built my full kit as Incursors.

It's the full kit, the easy build only builds infiltrators, not Incursors.
