My stuff arrived today. I guess I can finally put a stake into the heart of this beast and call it dead. Should they start a third KS, I wish you all the best but I shall not be participating.

I am still waiting... and I didn't even order any big things. I'll have to check the list to see what has been completed on my order but I thought most of it was done by now.

Showed up, no tracking number to be spoken of, so beware of that one folks. ~400 bucks worth the surprise sitting on my stoop when I got home.

They've reworked their casting and development process a few times, I'd suggest they look into their shipping and notifications process next as it's pretty agonizing waiting for the things after they said it'll be shipping.

Had the sisters cavalry on my original order. Paid for them to send the rest before waiting. Took them a week (they said it would be up to rwo weeks). But I got the shipped email this monday, looking forward to it, but I came into this with the plan of it taking a while, and had hoped to finish my then current painting projects before these showed up. Alas, I have failed at that, the quality looks great, I have enjoyed the freebies and she-wolves I ordered from them before.

I wasn't expecting anything excellent in the time to delivery department. Should roll out as a nice counts as Stormcast Eternals force though.

A ton of armies and a terrain habit...

I have been screwed around by their customer service multiple times on each kickstarter. I only just received a missing piece from the first kickstarter a month or so ago after 5 or 6 emails that were ignored I guess?
They ended up sending me the missing piece, smaller than a lasgun, snipped off its sprue in an enormous box. Would have been nice if they left it on the full sprue of 4 limbs after having made me wait for 4 years.

Not to mention the crap I had to go through to get the freebies added to my order after they somehow were not sent out in the first wave of TGG2.

Don't most people already have their stuff by now? So reopening the PM really only benefits those who were still waiting on these last models, right?

All I got were freebies so far.

Stupid me wanted metal models and the Avatar.

I regret both now. I really should just ask them to cancel those and let me switch them with something else.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Hang on, there's a longer waiting period metals as opposed to resin models?

Yep.

They can't produce metal minis at the same time as resin ones, so no metal stuff until all resin production is over.

Personally, I think they're hoping enough people get fed up waiting and switch to resin so they can cancel the metal production run.

Aye, those who haven't gotten their stuff yet can just add more in, without paying moar shipping. Peeps who already got their stuff but found out how awesome the actual production minis are and have regrets - and theoretically want in on sweat KS pricing? - can order more chicks but have to pay another round of shipping. We could run some conspiracies here - RH wants / needs another influx of cash, RH produced too many models in earlier runs, RH is hoping to bolster numbers of the last molds going into production (they mention relatively small runs for the last stuff in the pipeline), etc - but the end result is reopening most benefits those who haven't received stuff.

Which is me, and I'm considering

EDIT: Just added 5 more Flesh Eaters, to go with the other 10. I was soooo close to adding Yscarloth, but quite frankly I'm moving in the next 3-4 months and am not sure I have 12-18 weeks to wait (she and the altar are last)! Also couldn't figure out what to do with her ...

Ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude!

Their metals are just fine, their resin is utter gak to work with.

Then I dearly hope they switch to a caster who doesn't USE SO MUCH fething DEGREASER ON THE PARTS. Cleaning their casts has been such a chore that I wound up binning everything that I didn't use, especially the fiddle extra bits such as pouches and whatnot.

I finally found that if I lightly scrub the models with dettol brownstuff then wash it off quickly with water and let them dry, they take paint properly.

Don't soak them, or they go soft, but a light scrub with a soft toothbrush does the trick.

The degreaser they used on the early models was HEINOUS but apparently they've changed it for the new ones. Haven't tried any newer models yet, though.

Thanks enormously for that info! I was going to try brown Dettol but I would have let them soak which sounds like it would have been disastrous. You've saved some of my models!

I contacted them a week ago about swapping out my avatar with a similarly priced amount of stuff. Also wanted to switch to resin over metal for the heroes.

Heard back right away. Was told things would get switched immediately. Gave them a list of things. Haven't heard back since. Order remains the same.

Sad face.

I want to say I soaked my freebies overnight in simple green, washed them off with soap, let them dry and then gave them the good old Tamiya grey. Had no problems with painting them.

Getting a glue that wanted to bond immediately to things besides my fingers, that was an entirely different struggle.

Would love to see these ladies waiting for me when we get back home in July. Afraid that's just wishful thinking though...

It took me a month and several emails. Finally they shipped, and then replied two days later with a twee "oh, we just saw your email, but don't worry, we already shipped your order!" reply. Because apparently they think I'm a fething idiot.

I've been "airing out" my freebies for about 2 months now. I'll overnight them in SG in a few weeks, and then get my wife to scrub them. What kind of soap did you use after the SG?

I washed my freebies with dish soap and primer/paint is sticking to them just fine. I did have to use accelerant with my super glue to get it to cure in a timely matter during assembly.

I used whatever Bath & Body Works soap the wife had in the bathroom sink. I think it smelled like oranges.

That's not very helpful...

Now that I'm paying attention to this for the first time in two years, am I correct in thinking that I haven't received anything because some of the models I ordered are metal and that we have no idea when those'll be ready?
