err, already forgotten any other comments, but thanks guys ( I have just finished a 23 hour shift at work so a wee bit dopey at the moment)

And the plod-along cyboar somehow seems to have plodded away somewhere.. I know my desk is pretty (okay, extremely) chaotic, but he's just dissappeared.

Anyway, a shower and some doughnuts and I'll maybe do a bit of stuff and get some shots up - there's already a bit of paint on the first two cyboars, not convinced I'm actually able to paint any more until I've slept but I'll probably give it a go anyway - or I may just catch up on what I've missed on dakka the last few days - that's if my connection stays up long enough...

OK, well not an awful lot got done today, as I've now been up for about 41 hours that shouldn't really have suprised me kept realising I was painting with eyes shut, probably not the best technique

Started a couple of Hell Legion peeps, stuck a couple of bits of plastic together (pretty much literally a couple) and a tiny amount of paint on above pieces. It may well be hard to spot a difference though, but I did say I'd put 'em up...



And come tomorrow I'll probably realise what a fudge I've made and re-do it anyway

Thanks guys, looking over them after a bit of sleep I decided they weren't too bad, just even slower than my usual standard. Which will probably slow down even further for a while as I've finally been enticed into joining the Great Marine Swap hosted by whalemusic360 (with added greenskin goodness now added - hence my falling into it). I've pointed towards it before but I'll do it again as it's a worthy cause

edit: and yeah, I heartily recommend the swap threads - working for someone elses benefits does seem to make you push yourself a bit more..

Swap pics do go up here, was just waiting till I had some other stuff to put up too - I prefer to put up progress shots as if I waited for fully painted minis I'd only be posting every couple of months

But first, some work on the dread-trike



Using the classic 'Sleazy Rider' as the rider, he's getting a claw type hand to make him a cyber, but I really didn't want to change anything else on him, it's a great mini (well, adjusted his arm slightly too)


And for the Great Marine Swap, an 'ard boy for Sageheart, and a rokkit launcher boy for schank23 :

As far as I can tell both Sageheart and schank23 are really lucky chaps.

Dread-trike is looking good - where did that idea spring up from/start? The GMS Orks are wacky as per normal for you I completely understand the concept of posting WIP so that its not months between posts! I think I may have scared HadoukenAvenger off my blog

Only problem with that double chain blade is I'm fairly sure I only have one of those old blades left now, so I can't make one for my guys

Dread-trike grew from an idea I had for a trike using the intakes from the Tau Pirhana in a similar configuration. Just happened to have that image somewhere near the front of my oh-so-cluttered mind when I picked up the dread body and voila...

And Arakasi strikes again, this time just with the use of the word wacky Dik Dastardork and Muttsquig - I can see it now. Nab him, grab him, snatch him, catch him, stop that Squigeon now!! Maybe a whole fleet of wacky races themed vehicles.. Oooooh, that actually works for one of my other Pirhana ideas i wasn't sure would fit in, Oh man A whole new world is opening up in that mind.

CK - weirder? I hope so Yeah, that Sleazy Rider was one of the few old-skool orks I did pick up back in the day, no way to resist him. I believe the majority of his bike is floating around as a jetbike conversion which will undoubtedly end up as a deff-kopta .

Sage - well as I pointed out to Arakasi a while back there's only one completed unit so far - the deffdread. Not much of an army pic there I'm afraid.
