The rest of the pods streaked along the distant skies like a rain with burning drops. Many thruster guardsmen were terrified at seeing the things they had only heard of in tales of the angels of death, but had never actually seen. Many fled away broken but were quickly dispatched at the hand of ludd's bolt pistol.

Maverick sighed. He was tired. Maverick removed his cap, and spoke into his earpiece.

"Ludd, Take over. Let them form defences, and we shall shoot it out through the night. I shall re-form the line tomorrow when I return. Good Luck, gentlemen. Maverick Out."

And with that, he left and crossed the plaza.

Removing his unform, he looked at Nikev's medals. He would end that heretic. And with that, he went to sleep.

The pods crashed down with sounds like roaring thunder and the skies around them were filled with dust. Coc0 stepped out of his pod as soon as the doors had cracked open and immediately took out a thruster infiltrator he spotted hiding behind a rock with his plasma pistol. "All clear." he said

Ludd shook his head, this wasn't going to work, he had been on the move since hitching a ride on that hellhound this morning. He handed field command over to his aides and retired along with Maverick to the Command Bunker.

Munch was ready. Standing in front of the river witht the eldar warhost, he would make sure none would pass!

A thunderhawk transporter strode out of the air and landed. It carried a large void shield generator in its underslung clamps. the craft set it down and let go of it. It then flew back into the clouds. A techmarine and several servitors went towards the generator and activated it. The bubble of the shield covered the entire drop zone.

"good." Coc0 commented on this "i assume my command tent is ready?"

"Certainly M'lord." A serf answered

"Good, i will get some rest now. do not wake me under any circumstances. I need to be well rested for our assault"

Space Wolf Fleet Arrives At Thrusticon.

The Fury of Fenris battle barge along with 2 full companies of space wolves and accompanining fleet arrives on the sight of a wrecked and totaled loyalist imperial fleet, the massive fleet had arrived too late to support their brother crimson fists fleet because they had engaged a Thrust fleet 40 light years away, the massive fleet stood ready to rip the throat from these pelvic thusting heretics fleet, which now turned to face the space wolves fleet.

Gregersen, also known as "The Fang" stood on the command deck of the Fury of Fenris, he smiled revealin long protruding fangs which made the regular human crew on deck shiver, "well my pack we behold these dogs in front of us, let us show them what the wolf can do", he announced to the fleet. Wolf lords Krom and Bjorn walked up beside him, Fang we are ready to drop to the surface the blood packs will lead the charge. Gregersen nodded, then said" wait for my order on that i will not have my brothers die like the Fists did from the enem fleet, i see the report of Nikevs position is being tranmitted according to the charts here, BY THE ALLFATHER! He is in the middle of the enemy lines.He yelled into his vox, "WolfGuard report to teleporters i will meet you there, he looked to Krom and Bjorn i split command of this fllet to you, destroy the enemy fleet and bring in support as soon as possible.

With that Gregersen went to assist Nikev by teleporting down.

((Dammit, TLDR and I have other things I want to do. Pulling out before getting started, as if I try to join otherwise I'd likely arrive either on an empty battlefield or one filled with Titans. And DE have nothing to fight Titans with that I know of.))

Ludd arose from the command bunker and grabbed a data-slate. They had driven the Crimson Fists out of the city, but they now had a fully operational CP on the outskirts. All of down town was a complete mess and his units had suffered 40% casualties. Ludd sighed, this was gonna get a lot worse before it got better. He rubbed his temples and jumped of the bunk, there was work to do.

Coc0 appeared from his tent and looked around, they had built a fine command base and the void shield was still holding out. He activated his micro-bead and demanded a status report on anything that had happened while he was asleep, including if there was any news on what had happened to nikev.

He seeked for the crimson fist channel on his new microbead, the old one was broken due to some lacking scout "accidentally" firing his gun, when he suddenly heard ludd talking over the vox, he had tapped into thruster vox. Eager to listen to ludd he heard the tactic he was performing and ordering to his troops.
"That's Ludd right there: hesitant to perform orders at first, but when he performs them he does it damn well" He thought.

Writing down the thruster's channel he then went on searching for the crimson fist channel on his microbead...

Ludd frowned at the tactical map, the yellow areas, nonthruster territory was advancing and Vera's red troops were on the back foot...

It seemed, according to reports from Neophytes, that a thruster lander had tried to contact the fists using nikev's signature. Sadly before anyone could either check the signal or answer it the lander was hit by flak fire and crashed into the river: Nikev's current situation is unknown...

Ludd smiled to himself and patted the hydra gunner on the back, "fine shot." He tapped the keys on his comms unit,
"Maverick, this is Ludd, Nikev is down, I repeat Nikev is down."

"Listen up men!" Coc0 said to his marines "our great anti-thrusting leader Nikev has crashed into the river and is probably dead. We shall avenge his death by destroying all the thrusting forces by the river, there our whirlwinds shall establish a foothold and pound the thrusters 24/7 with incendiary Castellan missiles. That is ought to burn them out of their bunkers and buildings. meanwhile the neophytes will push forward and look for Nikev's remains. If he is still alive they shall take him to a medical facility that will be set up by the river. After that all marines shall stand down by the river and await further orders. you got that men?!"

"sir, yes sir!" All the marines shouted in unison.

"And remember men: THERE IS ONLY THE EMPEROR!" He said

"HE IS OUR SHIELD AND PROTECTOR!" the entire force replied.

This was going to be a rough battle...

Vera stayed in his bunker for the time being, but as he heard Ludd on the vox, his heart suddenly leaps at the words, Nikev is down, and now is his chance, quickly turning on the comms and shouted.

"all thrusters! leave Nikev to me!"

Ludd shook his head, Vera was always after Nikev, in truth it was probably not helpful for a field commander but each to his own, he is a god at the end of the day.

"Sir, the Eldar forces at the river seem to be withdrawing, shall we still continue our plan?" Said the command squad's apothecary who had noticed this on his remote.

"Go on, it might be a trap." coc0 answered "But we are space marines, we fear no evil for we are fear incarnate. They want to take our leader from us? Let them try..."

Coc0's fleet had been all but destroyed: His battle barge hang in low orbit with nearly all it's engines destroyed and a dozen hull breaches. all but one escort craft had been annihilated. and the red defiance was the only strike cruiser left unharmed. For it had, without orders, channeled all the power to the void shields. Many burning husks of once glorious strike cruiser floated aimlessly through space. Luckily, the majority of the enemy fleet had too been destroyed when strike cruiser "The unrelenting fist" rammed right into the fleet and detonated it's warp drives, sucking much of the fleet into oblivion.
