*grumble* Only 'cos shrike keeps pushing it up to the top *grumble over*. Nah to be fair the fiction i have found on this thread is pretty good, shame about all the discussion.

Yeah, it does tend to break up the stories a bit. But I do look at it as collaborations work. And thank you, glad you liked it too. ^^

I have this by my side while I do other stuff...just hit refresh on my subscribed threads while painting/building/Xboxing...

writing poems, doing light dusting, brushing up your swordskill, hacking fire wood, painting pink elephants for your lil sister....the list is endless and being here on dakka is but the merest part of the whole...rather insignificant...

this is my typical weekend day:
10:00-11:00- wake up
11:00- go on dakka
11:30- have brunch
12:00- have lunch
12:30- Xbox
2:00- dakka/general internet surfing
4:00- painting/modelling
5:00- dinner
6:00- Xbox
7:00- dakka/internet surfing
9:00- laptop off, TV.
10:30- bed.

sometimes I stay up later on laptop...not now of course... ^^
half the time I do this, the other half is going out.

Vasily muttered to Ogre, "Head to the ready room, I'll talk with the Kommissar and see what is going on. " To which Ogre nodded, and made the sign of the Aquilla before leaving.

Vasily approached the Kommissar, here eyes were showing her peak. She also spotted the decorated sgt. "Sgt Vasily, I see you are about the ship, not causing me more paper-work I hope." She was still looking upset. Her black uniform offset by her blonde hair. "oh no, I would not dream of doing that to you Kommissar Zhedvedov." he said making his best "Who me?" face as was possible.

"Good! because I have to sign an execution order for one of the men in Parmenter's platoon." she said to him. As she got closer she also looked at him, "Then I guess you will be enjoying your off time then?" she asked. "Oh yes, Dinner tonight with a nurse, who knows what next tomorrow night?" he admitted. "I see." she replied, her eyes finding the floor interesting. Vasily was attracted yes, but mixing it up with a kommissar in the same unit as your own could be bad all around for so many, that, and then there was the bigger problems of such a relationship ending on a bad note, usually very bad for the poor soul who did such a thing. Both knew it. "Look, at least we can get a game of regicide in this weekend okay?" it didn't hurt to try and stay on their good side though. As the tension was getting thicker, a booming voice like the sound of a Leman Russ revving up caught them both so that they jumped. "Kommissar, Vasily! how pleasant to find you both in the same place at the same time!" announced Father Orlov, the regimental battle priest, a man who had he not been selected at a young age for the clergy,, he may have been chosen by the Marines when they would have been by years ago. "Father." replied Zhedvedov, "Oh father, so good to see you! I was wondering about a certain relic that you may be interested in." to which the huge man raised an eyebrow.
"If you mean that one in the case, I say best leave it until you either meet the chapter it should go back to, or have the patron chapter return it for you, as honored as it would be to carry it in battle, it would also be a desecration of one of "their" weapons to be wielded by a lesser man." he said in a tone that meant he did not want to have that subject brought up again. Vasily shrugged, Best not ot have let some filthy xenos get their grubby mits on it though." to which all made the sign.

"I will be expecting both of you to make it services sometime and I mean soon!" he said hugging each in a massive arm. Both said "Yes father Orlov!" to which the giant smiled and left them alone. "Can't say no to him!" Vasily said, she nodded in agreement. "But to me you can keep saying no." That stung. "Look Teona, we both have to realize how much in complications it would be for a kommissar to be involved with one of the charges, at least at this time." She looked into his eyes, "I know, such is our duty." and then she put on an impish smile, "You'll still come over for Regicide so I can kick your ass again, right?" He smiled back. "Tomorrow night, I'll bring the drinks."

oh god... vasily is a daredevil^^ would it be harder for him to tackle a squad of leman russes or the commissar?... tune in next time in our small family show...

nice charcters you draw...the priest sounds like real fun to make a mini for...who on do you base your characters from? do you just create or do you have a guided inspirational person ? (gosh there is some meaning in it but i would be damned if i would understand it in your place^^)

Vasily is a blend of many heroes from movies and books I have read.

The squad is all fresh stuff.

The Kommissar is another creation mixed from fresh and heroines I have read of.

Father Orlov I created from scratch in one of my Dark Heresy scenarios I ran as I do not use modules but create things as I go along! Wait till I get to the sermon!

Oh yes, I am keeping this family level, I mean I know how to write racier stuff, but that is NOT for this venue!

you play real pen and paper roleplay? cool, i was once in a cthulu group which played scenarios and the gamemaster was boring mostly...so i left...

and a fantasy group i attended for quite some time played absolutly free roleplay as hard as you can get...total free character play, it was tremendously funny... sometimes even stressful and getting argumentive as we had some real evil polayers... one o had to order a killing of a player lest he would have commited rape... i was the master then... he would have lost for sure^^ but i also remeber quite fondly times when we armwrestled and made quite a lot of funny things in this setting...oh those where the days...^^

Well, I am that Evil Game master who has multiple options for the players to pick, some nice, others nasty, and if they decide to kick the wall in and make another hallway, I have a monster waiting for them in the wall! ^^

yep! the gamemaster has to educate his players as well as entertain them^^

I love keeping them on their toes!

thats the joyful part of the game...otherwise it would be no point i guess, then those who doenst want that should rather wathc telly^^

They then went and saw a video show, danced and chatted until dawn, he was quite the gentleman and saw here back to her billet, kissing her and getting a promise for another evening with her. That morning, he went to the morning services of Father Orlov.

The Kommissar was there too, and he watched in amazement as the sermon was being done in a most unusual way. "So my brothers and sisters" he paused taking a pull from a bottle, "It seems the enemy is being stubborn, and not giving in." another pull from a second bottle, and he had a neophyte nun on one shoulder, as a female soldier sat on the other shoulder. "That is why a fresh push is needed." another pull, "As you know one and all, once I get a good head of Vodka, my wrath comes out, and for this push I am fighting alongside all of you, I expect you all to be fierce!" another pull, "Merciless!" another, And in the end, victorious!" at which he slammed the bottles down and picked up his eviscerator.

"Show the bastards that we do not like those who refuse the warm embrace of the Emperor!" the crowd leapt to their feet and cheered. Then he bellowed, "NOW GO! Grab your gear and get ready to bring hell to the enemy!" to emphasize, he revved the mighty blades' engine.

Vasily looked at Kommissar Zhedvedov, "I am taking it that our "vacation" has been cut short?"

right behind him is also the wrong place to be either on a far away landmass or another all together planet...he is definatly on a mission...and he seems to be a clergyman thats still in favor to the females^^

have you considerd modeling him? this would be a high time for a truescale SM converted back to an IG... now that would be nice to see^^

or you could get a 35mm fig of a monk or something similar and leave it at that^^
