Tip for future projects: If you use the really thin CA glue like the pink label stuff that Zap A Gap makes on chains you don't gunk up the links...

Kepora: Nah, I've tried. I've pretty much given up on the daemon prince for the moment. I just don't know what to do - I think I'll make a couple of concept sketches and take it from there - but thats a project for later.

Very nice conversions! Both with the Terminators and the Champion. The Terminators look very menacing with their poses and are great as is! The Champion's power axe is superb. His left food seems a tad off to me, though I can't quite tell since maybe it's jsut the picture angle... but it seems a bit too twisted and downward... not sure if this is true though, or just how the picture made it look. Also, maybe make the skulls hanging from the banner above him swing a bit more behind him. They seem a tad static. Though these are all very minor things... he's very very cool looking!

Cool, I live in CPH NV myself. Unfortunately I don't have enough minis for a army yet or the money to come at Emperors Pride.

Everything in this thread is amazing. The Terminator with the ogre ccw and chainaxe/polearm is very cool. I like the whole thing with the running pose termies.

Shouldn't you leave room for your stormraven?

I like the layout of the display board. How do you plan do do the ground? Will you have a little path similar to the stairs and jagged rocks all over the ground (like on the unit bases), or just sand (which would be easier for standing guys on)?

Right you are - and it's not finished yet. I still need to make the claws more clawlike, and add lots of spiky bits. And thanks for the kind words!


I've dabbled a bit more - In order to break up the landscape, I've decided to do a chaos symbol "growing out" of the rock - so it'll have several different levels, made of foam, and lots of pebble, rock, sand, etc. Here's a pic, if you can make out the idea. The chaos symbol also functions as a path leading to the temple.

I really like the design for the board, always remember that there's a plan with chaos =)

As usual incredible models and the display board looks great with the chaos symbol breaking up the terrain. How about a river of blood on the lowest level coming from the big skulls in the back left corner. would be very Khorne, same with piles of skulls.

This is looking really great , I personally think you have got the theme spot on and have executed this project really well so far. Can't wait to see more as so far everything is amazing!

The chaos symbol growing out of rock is a great idea also.

I thought a lot about it, and I'm not really into the whole mutation thing regarding Khorne - perhaps some face mutations, but not so much with crab claws, tentacles, wings, etc. However, it really annoys me that they tip over so easy, so I bit the bullet and ordered a bunch of these:

Liking the death claw did was it easy to convert the legs?, and was it a snug fit for them?

Sort of - it wasn't difficult, but it was a bit tricky to hold the doors in the right position, while positioning the wings. The wings are very snug - actually I had to scrape a bit of plastic of them to get them to fit. I still need to add lots of bits, make it more spiky, and extend the wings a bit.
