Oh, gak. I have like 12 hrs left. Em... working!
Jesse James is awesome. That Ork tank is stunning.

Wow Moolet, that is just stunning.

Thanks for the kind comments on my mini, too. Thanks Midget, Whittlesey, and Verviedi as well. Midget - yeah, the leather came out surprisingly well. The only problem is that I reckon it was a complete fluke. It was a dozen or so layers of alternating wash and drybrush with various different shades of brown, and somehow it ended up looking like real leather. I'm pretty sure I couldn't do it again.

Not nearly as good as other entries, but it's good for now. Will do some extra work on it (weathering, etc) over the next few weeks.

ehh...so I was gonna try doing a couple more models to go with my entry...instead I wound up painting 30 orks, and started repainting some ebay-rescue CSM possessed marines and stuff for my nurgly death guard

...so yeah... @Paradigm...count those pics as my finished final pics mate - pretty sure they'll score fairly low, after seeing all the other great entries, but eh, whatever, they were something fun and different to paint

oh yeah, Para...are you doing the voting poll for this, or was I supposed to do that...also, just checking, you still want me to do the march challenge thread?

Awesome stuff here this month! I love the grot entries, haha.
Your Nomad remote turned out great ZoBo! Cool colors. Great to see some Infinity stuff.

Here is my finished Nomad Lizard TAG, done just in time. Not perfect, but I'm happy to have it done.

Anyone can join at any time. All it takes is a proof pic at the start of the month. Or the end of the month, if you paint quick.

next month's challenge will be starting up sometime tomorrow, in a new thread...the theme will be "Space Marines" (not totally limited to actual space marines though, it's open to interpretation...think "soldiers in space", basically )...you can enter each month's challenge at any time during that month, just post a "proof" pic of your entry (can be anywhere from unbuilt, up to basic basecoats...can't be like half-way done or something though)...and then post up to 5 final pics when your finished

@ZoBo: I can manage the vote for this month, it's just the actual running for next month that needs doing. Cheers again for volunteering!

righto, no problem...figured that was the case, just thought I'd best double-check

oh man...I'm both really looking forward to, and yet also quite scared of the March challenge ...I'm gonna have a go at painting the gorgeous forgeworld Primach Vulkan model...it's gonna be quite a challenge to do him justice...hoo boy!...

Got my PC back running again

Yeah join in anytime you like Master Azalle (probably next month unless your super quick). Everyone is welcome, its a fun way to keep motivated and learn things if you want.

Wow some great entries on the last day, seems people have really pushed themselves for the final month of this years challenges.

2 quality Ork Trucks, great work Guildenstern and Mootlet

Guild - The entry is full of little secrets and brilliant touches, which I love. I've had to look at the pic several times and probably haven't found them all )

Mootlet, that really is rather well done, the weathering/battle damage is great. Your grot skin tones are really smooth and well blended. The screens are awesome.

All in all I'm rather jealous of those 2 models

@Farseer Anath'lan - Might just be me but your pics aren't showing up.

Congrats Everyone that finished

That's lovely. It really reminds me of old cartoons from the 80s like Battle Of The Planets, for some reason. An anime look is great for the model.

edit - I love all the brightly-coloured buttons!

Hey guys!
just finished my rapier and their crew. Ngl i'm not at all pleased with the paintjobs on the crew, all of it was very rushed and it shows... ah well.
i would have liked to have done some weathering on the rapier aswell, but time said nay.
I wouldn't have painted anything this february though, and i have learned more about 'my style' and the way i like to paint things. so i'm glad i took part.

Thanks dakka!
not going to win any prizes, but the prize is in the journey.... lol

I can tell you, Vulkan is a joy to paint - there's so much detail it's unreal. I know where you're coming from regarding doing it justice - it's quite daunting! All I can say is - sub assemblies is the way forward.

@Modock - That Piranha is awesome. I love the pale blue and the minimal weathering really sets off the clean paintjob - well done!

@SmallChanges - I love the concept - just epic, and a really well executed paint job as well!

haha...yup, I've already got him all set up and primed in sub-assemblies, ready to go ...I've got the head, flamer arm, the big skull pauldron, and the cape as separate pieces, and the base is in 5 parts...and I'm kind of doing a "practice run" with GW's Vulkan He'stan, and the metal Salamanders Chaplain Xavier right now, to really get my eye in ...they're also both great models that I've really wanted to paint for some time

Hi gang. Calling it done: Model is Zoe from the Infinity range by Corvus Belli. She's from the Nomads faction. I didn't have time to paint her remote Pi-Well... maybe next time.
Lots of great entries this time around. Look forward to perusing them in the voting thread. Cheers.
