On a side note there was a guy earlier who said that he kept finding a guy in his house with his wife after he married her. That's not a glitch, that's supposed to happen. They're doing things behind your character's back you know and I find it amusing that they decided to put that in there, too bad there isn't a quest to stop it though.
-Find out that she's cheating on you.
-File for divorce.
-Use shout to end divorce proceedings.
-Go to court for domestic abuse.
One of my more memorable moments in the game was from listening to the random stories in the game. Read some of the books because some of them are quite entertaining, and listen to some of the NPCs. I have never heard a pint-sized vampire talk about killing a pedophile in an alley before in my life.

Right, it's just a RP experience thing.
I would think it's clear that doesn't really need to be tracked on a meter. Automatically Appended Next Post: halonachos wrote:On a side note there was a guy earlier who said that he kept finding a guy in his house with his wife after he married her.
Is it Mjoll by any chance?

RP things are good, I'm torn between whether I want a karma meter mod or not though.
On one hand I do love me some morally grey and gritty fantasy (on a 40k forum? never!) but on the other I also love to play heavily stereotypical themed characters (evil necromancer, do gooder paladin etc) and a karma meter makes it a LOT easier to keep track of how many evil things you've done.
Plus the sense of achievement when you do something so evil "the Antichrist" pops up on your karma meter is awesome.

I'd rather gorge myself on broken glass than play as a polar character.
Just not my cup of tea.

There are some who walk until their legs fail them and they fall to the ground. I find that respectable.
Then there are those who drag themselves further. I find that admirable. |

I had an interesting 'arrow in the knee' today in Windhelm. A guard was saying something about being more adventurous in his youth, before he 'took a sword through the chest'.
Lookin' good, guard! Now where's that Necromancer that must've re-animated you...

I adore it, playing as bosmer specialising in bows, daggers and alchemy while making your money from hunting and foraging just appeals to me, as does slaying undead in shining golden armour with a healing spell or ward in one hand and a sword in the other.

I really like polar characters and enjoy keeping myself on the straight and narrow. This goes back to KotOR for me. I loved the gak out of that game. I love that kind of stuff, too. I really think about the characters I start in TES games, as if I was planning on playing in a D&D game.

That said playing a morally grey sellsword who just goes where ever the coin and mead flows freely also appeals.
Really just roleplaying any simple character archtype with a themed character appeals to me in ERPG's, in the pen and paper variety I tend to prefer more original character but those are kind of hard to portray in ERPG's.

Is it Mjoll by any chance? The one I was referencing was Camilia Valerius, although Mjoll has a guy that does indeed move in with you should you move out of Riften. However, if you marry Mjoll while she is a follower then he won't move in. I am really considering this mod, or this one,

I do seriously want to have a Dakka modding community, though. Voice acting can be done for a video game- Morrowind actually has an entire community of fan-voice actors just for mods. We could do things like modify existing quests to have a 'good' choice, as well.

See? We've got someone right there! It would actually be pretty awesome to just do a mod where every single NPC has a unique voice, actually. That thing would be downloaded like nobodies business, and probably drum up a lot of interest in Dakka to boot!
