I know you all wish you could be this cool. The SoB costume is pretty good though.

Sad when the SM is a half head shorter than the SoB.

Probably a trap but I'd still hit it.

The SM gets bonus points if that scar running down his face is real.

I dunno...

Nononono, the SM is wrong for three reasons
1) He has hair
2) He is clearly not screaming (except possibly in his mind at whoever made him do this)
3) He is a smurf

What is that gun supposed to be? It looks like the business end of a Ghostbusters proton pack.

I believe it's the Playskool My First Heavy Bolter. Possibly a Nerf variant.

On the contrary, they are so happy at being photographed that she is barely supressing a smirk, while he has stopped yelling in furious anger.

I can never understand the lure of dressing up as something you're not even close to looking like, but I guess if you're a fat guy pretending to be Goku you can pretend to have a tiny ounce of self-worth while you're doing so.

Vin Diesel, The Rock, Michael Duncan, or Batista should be the only people allowed to dress up as space marines.

I love going to A-kon and seeing Warmachine/Hordes and Magic players playing in cosplay. It's so surreal.

However, the YuGiOh players dressed as YuGiOh characters are just sad...

It's funny how geeks always tend to look down on other geeks. I'm guessing that deep down some of you are embarrassed about your hobby and need to convince yourselves that there are even more pathetic people out there.

Not me. I leave my 40K stuff out in the living room/dining room where quests can see it(granted, it's where I paint) and always have, never hid it nor the fact that I cosplay, play RPGs(and CCGs/CMGs), or LARP.

I wear my Geek/Nerd-dom with pride.

Awesome pic...

I second the vote for yes to the sister and no to the brother...

SOB costumes are a little more doable for cosplay... Making a hard plastic jump suit for the 5'7" guy to wear just doesn't really make me think "cool".

Hats off to the inquisitor and his retinue at LAGD... And the young lady who walked around in her sister repentia outfit. You guys went for it and ruled.

Please check out my current project blog

Also is anyone else disappointed that they aren't trying (and failing) to pull off a bad a$$ pose?

It could be the lighting, but I suspect the SoB is also a guy... I think I'm seeing 5 o'clock shadow. Alas, the high collar hides the Adam's apple, or lack thereof.

He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.
