Okay, i have an idea which can't possibly be original but i have not seen it done yet so here it goes.
A necron army based off the cinematic Terminator design.
Mix 3:1 catachan bits with necron bits. and maybe add some flayed ones. Make sure to use NEcron weaponry and I would likely stray away from destroyer bodies or at least convert them to fit the theme. flayed ones would work fine too (even though i hear they stink)!
They use of the C'tan is fine too... anyone see T2???
I do not foresee creating this in the near future unfortunately but i was wondering: if any liked the idea? has seen this or something similar? has any thought?

Another way you can do it is by buying the 2nd ed. Necrons... They already look like Terminator 'Crons.

Sort of like zombies, but showing metal skeletons inside instead of bones? I like it a lot, it will have lots of modelling appeal. Fluff is easy - the 'human camouflage' is a cunning plan by the necron overmind to infiltrate the local planet and gather intelligence before unleashing war, like a robot version of a genestealer cult..
Should be fairly easy to think of something scarab-sized to disguise them - although nothing springs to mind immediately.
The biggest problem is destroyers and Monoliths - if you want to go with the 'camouflage' theme, I guess the destroyers could be disguised as civilian hovercraft (with lots of battle damage showing the destroyer hulls underneath). For monoliths, the only obvious camouflage candidate would be a building - "Hey, I don't remember that three storey building being there last week, do you?"

Heh, monolith buildings. Just get the Imperial Sector and with a little conversion you have 3 monoliths! Man, that's wild. Now, I really don't understand what you're doing. Terminators with necron weapons?

I believe he is referring to the terminator film series ( although there is also a television series and several comics?) and not space marine tactical dreadnought (terminator) armor.

I have to admit, I miss the old Infantry battles of 4E compared to this 5E wonderland of APCs/IFVs everywhere. It's like we jumped from WWI to WWII.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

Puppies.
I like the idea. The Catachan head with the sunglasses is a must have for the Necron Lord
