I'm putting together a Chaos army and I'm not sure how to tie all the units together properly.

2 Lash Princes
2 Plague Marine squads in Rhinos
1 Termicide squad
6 Obliterators

I love the look of Nurgle, but I wouldn't feel right painting and modeling the Terminators like they were Nurgle-ey without giving them the mark, which I won't do. All of my bases have broken down pieces of pillar and will help to tie the army together, but other than that I have no idea. So, the question is: How do I model and paint 6 Obliterators, 3 Terminators, and 2 MoS Lash Princes so that they all look like they're in the same army? ><

Thanks in advance!

I understand what you're saying, but I mean, how do you get Terminators and Obliterators to match with Plague Marines?

hmm, I guess like stated before, paint the shoulder pads and a few other bits and bobs the same color. Really thats about the only thing you can do without making the termies look like nurgle termies

WHY?! WHY WOULD YOU BUILD A LASH LIST?! YOU'LL SELL YOUR ARMY BEFORE THE MONTH IS OUT!

Anyway, you can always go for the unifying Hedonistic Black. Everyones a masochist. Plague Marines are self inflicting morons, Terminators and suicidal, the Princes are Slaaneshi (nothing else needs to be said) and Oblits like putting things in places they don't belong. Make everyone look like a gimp.

if you dont want to paint them the iconic green of nurgle you could paint them in a very bad state of repair, perhaps on their way to gaining the mark?
maybe zombie heads?
how about 3/4ths of an imperial paint job blending into a nurgle color scheme showing the progression of loyal to chaos?

basically just find ways to throw some nurglesque colors on the model and it will bring them all together.

Eh, it seems like the nature of the army to feature units that simply look different. You can unify the army by doing something like making one of the shoulderpads on every model the same color and/or have the same icon on it.

I'm struggling with this same problem with my army so to start I'm just painting each of the different units how I want them, and then I'l work out bringing them all together when thats done.

I think what I plan on doing is painting everything in the pre-heresy Death Guard scheme. Then the Plague Marines will get all of the dribble and leakage painted on.

The Plague Marines have been modeled with bloat, zombie heads, tubers, pus etc and so will their Rhinos.
