Cadians are by far the most genuinely badass. No planet is under more military pressure; you say that other regiments are just as burdened, but the Cadians are in fact right next door to the very origin of Chaos incursions into Imperial territory. Almost every man born on that planet is destined to die in battle and no one, no matter how heroic, is promised a permanent grave.

Exactly, there isn't even enough land on the planet for all the Cadians who have died in battle.

Continuing reading The seige of Vraks and it gets quite in depth on hell-guns. Which I though was interesting. They are the Kreig Grenieder variant of course but I imagine Kasirkin ones are pretty similiar.

Hell-guns and "Hotshot" lasguns are the same thing but Hellgun is the prefered term for most troopers. That backpack-powerpack only provides 200 shots. They are very high maintentance and the barrels often warp under the intense heat especially when rapid firing. So the barrels are actually refrigerated! The foregrip is actually there to protect the guardsman's hand from freezing. Between firing the barrel can sometimes frost over.

They are actually not well liked by most guardsmen who actually prefer the more reliable lasgun! However use of them is mandatory for stormtroopers.

Behind you

Krieg death corps or penal legions.

Basically live underground because they nuked their planet. Siege corps, who live in some of the worst conditions and are resigned to death. Come on, thats fething hardcore.

Never liked Cadians, because they are so generic. Even thought their whole planet is one giant military zone, and their cities are designed with urban warfare in mind.

Also, a planet the size of Kreig typically produces about 1 regiment per 10 years but Kreig produces 10 regiments per 1 year. In fact the only tithe they pay at all is Imperial Guard regiments.
Commissars are assigned to the Death Korps not to urge them onwards but to pull them back. DKoK commanders will often march his army forwards into complete anihilation when its not strategically prudent and the commissariant is there to be the voice of reason.

And those are your why The Death Korps is leading this poll facts of the day.

I thought that Krieg IG send waves upon waves of tanks to, artillery and man. And they are specialist for siege attacks. SO they actually lose less man than other regiments.

As for my vote : Cadians all the way. Got to love how that Gurdsman stand against Chaos and Tau.
Elysisans are also bad-ass. What is more awesome than to be dropped from the 2000 feet right into enemy head *BLAM* .

They do a lot of (A LOT!) of preliminary bombardment but they're still very much a infantry in first regiment even if it is in a Gorgon.
They're not clones I think but grown en masse in vitro.

Death Korps of Krieg! Something about thier suicidal mindset and fanaticism just appeals, plus they have badass looking uniforms.

Followed closely by the little Tanith boys, they are just so sad, a sad bunch of highly skilled guys. I reckon they could teach the space marines a thing or two about stealth.
