Should be 1500 exactly

Why a DP with Init 6?
Why not Nurgle with T 6?

I guess it a lash DP.
I second the other poster to take a Nurgle DP. Its definitely more fluffy.

i have a demon prince in my chaos army he has mark of korne and wings he is a bulldozer smash him into the enemy lines and let him do what a deamon prince does best KILL STUFF not rearrange you opponents army so you can shoot it !!!!!

He best not let HMBC or TR see the list called a Plauge Marine army when it has a Lash DP as its HQ

seriously every other CSM list now a days is the same Lash Prince (s) plague marine + oblit lists.

One lash demon prince isn't worth it anyway. Definitely lose the lash prince.

1. Change the DP to wings, nurgle, warptime (+20 points)

2. Change the troop squads into 3 seven man PM squads, 3 rhinos, 3 w/PF champs, 6x meltas (-127 points)

3. 6 oblits are fine (no change)

4. Leaves you with 107 points. Several options here:
4a. Drop one oblit, leaving you with 5. Use the 182 points for another DP exactly like the one you have.
4b. Drop one powerfist champ, replace with regular plague marine, change guns from melta to flamer in one squads. Swap warptime on DP for nurgle's rot and use 167 points on second winged nurgle DP with rot.
4c. Use the 107 points to buy 3 termies with 3 combi meltas
4d. Use the 107 points to buy 7 plaguebearers and 3 icons for your squads.
4e. Drop 2 oblits, use the 277 points for another full plague marine squad with all the trimmings.
4f. Simply spend the 107 points to beef up your plague marine squads with more bodies.

or use the 107 to buy the greater demon, he really is bank for 100 points. sacrificing an epxensive PM champ is rough sometimes but busting out fatty at a key location i great.

Honestly,it is so anoying to click onto a "Plague marine" list only to see YET another lash build,especially for those of us who have actually taken the time and effort to attempt to build REAL PM armies using that mess of a CSM codex.

Well, Lash Princes, Plague Marines, and Obliterators is the strongest Chaos build.
This is why you will see those lists until the change the Codex.

I'm sorry but this list is disgusting. If it's a plague marine list, then EVERYTHING is nurgle, not just the actual plague marines. Refer to almost every above post PLEASE.

Ouch, I didn't realize lash princes received so much hate and I did say 'and stuffs', but that may not have been clear :S I can't add in more plague marines because I only have about 20 and I don't want to drop my numbers too much, but I could certainly trade lash and mark of slaanesh for warptime. I don't really know if toughness 6 is necessary because most of the time my daemon princes die to mass heavy weapons above strength 8, rather than weight of fire. I also have 3 Defilers but they tend to die if someone so much as breathes on them xP

Zoot,let me be the first (and perhaps only) to apologize for any percieved "hate",in your defence you did say "and stuffs".
However,as I have said in several other post an army led by lash DPs is NOT a Plague Marine army,sorry it's just a currently popular power build list.
That being said,they are your models,you payed for and painted them and you have the right to play any list you wish.

Here's my new, more fluffier list

HQ:

Daemon Prince with wings, mark of nurgle, and warptime (175)

Troops:

9 Plague marines, 2 flamers, rhino, and a powerfist champion with twin linked bolter (320)
10 Plague marines, 2 melta, 1 rhino, and a powerfist champion (335)
10 plague marines, 2 melta, rhino, and a powerfist champion (325) 1130

Heavy Support:

5 obliterators (2 squads of 2, 1 by itself) - 375 (My store goes by victory points rather than killpoints)

1497 points

The problem is, the list isn't doing anything interesting. I dunno, it seems really sturdy, but personally I'd be bored playing it. I might drop some each plague marine squad down to 7 or 8 models and do something with Chosen or some tanks.

Is this any better? Still not doing much interesting, I've just reduced the marine squads to 7 each to add in another nurgle prince.
