I was in the proposed rules reading some stuff and I had just always assumed that Asurmen was the Shining Spear Exarch or that they represented a aspect of Asurmen. I just thought the Warp Spider one was lost to chaos. Anyway what happened to these guys? Has there even been a Warp Spider or Shining Spear phoenix lord.

If I lose it is because I had bad luck, if you win it is because you cheated.

Asurmen is the Phonix lord of the Dire Avengers.

It is never mentioned in the dexes of a phoniex lord for warp spiders or shining spears.

However it does say that the armour of said lords are often lost for HUGE amounts of time, and it may be many a year before a stray pathfinder/whatever stumbles across it.

No details of either a Shining spear or Warp Spider phoenix lord - but then these are the two least common Aspect Paths, so it's probable they just don't have them.

The one that fell to chaos was the Striking Scorpion one BEFORE Karandras...

the first Eldar didn't have those two aspects, so the Pheonix Lords were never made for them.

In the book Eldar Prophecy, there is a guy that could be considered the Pheonix Lord of Warp Spiders.

Congratulations, your dismissive and conclusory commentary has provided nothing to this discussion or the wider community on whose behalf you arrogantly presume to speak nor does it engage in any meaningful way the remark it lamely targets. But you did manage to gain experience points toward your next level of internet tough guy.

Since that book was written by the Infamous CS Goto I wouldn't trust it.

Dire Avengers, Howling Banshees, Fire Dragons, Swooping Hawks and Striking Scorpions were all created very late 1st ed, when the phoenix lords were also developed as part of the craftworld eldar background. These are the oldest of aspects.

Shining Spears and Warp Spiders came later and are thus still the "newest" aspects, and have never had phoenix lords associated with them.

I havent ever read any of the novels, I guess you can sort of make a Warp Spider Phoenix lord using a Autarch sort of.

There is the Lohksidae, as has been said before. It is a suit of armor that chooses someone everytime the Craftworld it inhabits (Khalor, I think) is in need of purging. The spiders that the Warp Spiders take their aspect from have the same job in the Infinity Circuit, but the Lohksidae functions on a larger scale in the materium. The example depicted in Eldar Prophecy was that the craftworld was being driven into a Warp Storm by Slaaneshi cultists (Eldar who had secretly devouted themselves to him) and everyone was too distracted by meaningless politics to stop it, so he showed up to purge them all and get rid of the pointless squables and taint of Chaos. Granted they win in the end, but that was because they were circumventing the system by a plot twist you never see coming.
