I've made some real cheap Barricades for 40k out of Sprue bits and Warhammer Fantasy Movement Trays.

They look like this.

Some people play to win, some people play for fun. Me? I play to kill toy soldiers.

Ha Cool! Nice and cheap, slab some paint on it and I say they are great!
Keep it up!

Nice! These are perfect hasty barricades. I would suggest a good deal more ground cover before painting, though, or your sprue rubble will look out of place.

Right, right.

These are just rough drafts, WiP shots.

I'll get the gravel on 'em, and then I'll paint 'em.

Until I get my hands on some primer though, this is what we'll get.

I'm trying to make more terrain, including a board, so expect to see more Cheap-O terrain.

That's a brilliant idea; far better than my habit of just tossing emptied sprues in the recycling bin.

They need proper bases though. Some greenstuff on the end atleast, just to get red of that gap at the edge of the cardboard. Good work though.

I too do a similar deal with my sprues. They actually can make some nice terrain.

You could actually make them even cheaper by using plasticard instead of WHFB movement trays
