Hey guys, this is kinda my first real 1750 CSM army proposal - which I kinda wanted to have at least one squad of 1KSons. I also wanted to keep it quite diverse - but I suck at diversity. Also - I don't want a DP. I know they are awesome - but no.
Well here goes - please don't judge me =P

1 word. LAAAAAAAANDRAAAAAAAAAAAAIDER.
You are bringing Abbadoobydo and his super Termy squad (which needs to get skimmed down and rebuilt) without a way to get them into combat. The Termies are currently 48.333 points per model. They need to be under 40 and if you need the Landraider to get to close quarters. I'd dump an Obliterator Cult, and cut the Terminators to a 4 man squad with 1 Chainfist, 1 Heavy Flamer and Icon of Tzeentch if you must. Then you'll have enough points for a dedicated Landraider with Possession and a few points to spare.
Oh. I thought I was done, and was about to complament you on the rest of the list, but you have Possession on your Rhinos. Drop those, it makes Rhinos more expensive than they are worth. Then go and buy back an Obliterator.
After all that, your Termies are now cheaper, stronger and have a ride. The rest of the list is sturdy, and the only thing I have to note is that the Khorne Berserkers need some pampering to get into CC. Rhinos aren't an effective assault transport, but if you are careful you should be able to make it into combat.

Nice list, not soft in any areas (no fast attack, but thats pretty common with CSM lists).
Question - why Daemon Possession on the Rhinos? IMHO Rhinos are better left with nothing added (maybe a havoc launcher). They are dirt cheap, and pretty fragile, so any added points rarely provide the benefit.
How are Abbs and the termie's coming in? I presume you will be deepstriking them with the Oblits - you would therefore benefit from more icons on your troops.
I also dont favour putting IoT on Terminators, Personally I like Nurgles Icon for the toughness, or IoCG for the rerolling leadership.
Give your Aspiring Sorcerer MeltaBombs - means you wont be tarpitted by a walker. I hate it when that happens.
If you loose the possession on the Rhinos, 10pts each(?) so 30points, two terminators 60 points, and two obliterators 150 points, you have enough points for a Landraider (220 points) to put abbadon and 4 termies in - transport them in style, and have a nice added heavy support/fire magnet.
None of this takes away from the essential strength of the list you posted - its solid - these are just polite suggestions!

As I never add it to anything, my limited understanding is that its what makes the Defiler ignore stunned or shaken results?
In that case, its only worth having on a dedicated shooty tank (in my view).

What my initial plan was in an annihilate game would be the ol' pincer movement. Try to get my termies and berserkers in CC and deep strike my obliterators down behind the khorne meatshields.

Nice list. I indeed think the LC's are overkill. Mind you are charging from a LR assault ramp with Abaddon and a retinue. Everything will die anyway I guess. Thing is, what to do with left over points? Maybe beef-up the cult squads to 10 men strong, but I can see why you have the sacred numbers...

I think your maths is off. I tried to shave a lot of points, added the units and came up with this total. What am I missing?
My goal was to shave enough to fit in a Dreadnought with extra DCCW and HF for 105 points

Drop Bolt of Change on the Thousand Sons. It has no synergy with the squad. You pay hugely for AP3 bolters, but if you use it on a tank it is wasted. Doombolt is your shooty power. Gift and Warptime if you expect them to be fighting close to the enemy.
It's your call about the Vindicator. 2 Dreadnaughts will give more target saturation and cause more damage when they work, but the Vindicator will still add to the target saturation while always working. It comes down to how much you value the reward and if you are willing to take the risk. I'm one of those people who got burned by Dreads, but then again, my list wasn't built to support one.

I was mistaken on the Vindicator however.
I still think the unit of Terminators is more then IMBA enough the way I configured them. That saves some points. How about this...

I actually like the idea of two Mellee equiped Dreadnoughts, but I doubt about the synergy that would give you. This configuration makes better use of the Berzekers and adds survivability to the Land Raiders (two targets over one).
I like the lists concept though. Would be cool to face or play with...

Would it be feasible to possibly drop Abaddon and use Ahriman, dropping the LCs on the terminators and fielding a dreadnaught? Or even dropping the terminators altogether?
