Just a quick update for the people im swapping with! but unfortunately i left my camera from my vacation and wont be getting back for another or so hopefully so i cant show it

Darksabre: i have good progress on your marine, working on details and ive almost got the armor done, so i'd say it's around 70% complete

Graven: I have started to paint the armor, i haven't received all the parts yet for the apothecary but i got everything i need besides the arm and shoulder so i though i would start at least! will get pics up as soon as i can

Alright, the nearly completed Brother Zifu. After taking this picture I noticed how terrible my highlighted pink lines were on the flamer. Other then that little fix though, he is good to go. I hope you enjoy!

Njal! I saw in your thread and indeed, further along than me - everything is backburned for a Dark Elf trek but I am at the yellow stages on yours.

And Ice - very curious combination there. One that makes sense too.

From the Salamanders and he has rules from forge world site and is a usable character for the HQ of the Space marines, i might have to make my own for he is a kick character that i really like since he is a cheaper HQ and yet is very flexible and still packs a punch!

Oh I am a happy camper now! Digging the vials big time. The Dante I'm going to cut up for you is nearly done stripping (dettol bath #2), so hopefully he'll be getting some primer on tomorrow.

Paint looks really sharp BBL. Is that a metal cannon, I thought the plastic ones came with barrel cut out already?

I can attempt to find something to drill the barrel, if you want. And I need to go over the squad marking with a second color and put writing on the seal...

You can attempt a drill out if you'd like. On the up side, it would already be metal colored

I've got your bits together, but I'm afraid thats as far as I've gotten. I have an event on Sunday I've been frantically putting stuff together for, but will be getting it together next week. He's going to be my 1st attempt at airbrushed black work, so should be interesting at the least.

Take the mold line off the end of the barrel, then paint the center of the barrel black... that's better than nothing.

I agree with Git on that one. Metal can be a pain, the illusion of a drilled barrel is easy enough to pull off.

Njal, I really like your mint ice cream apothecary. Nice job on the lighting effects on the back pack light. I think he turned out great.

the Apocathery looks awesome, i dunno about metal guns so good luck but i do like the idea of painting them though never thought about that.

Here is a completed mini-diorama/objective marker. The "Thunder Baron" aka chaos Mantis Warrior atop his fresh kill, made by Gathering Storm (base is my work). I really like the figure DE made for me, so I wanted to see it based appropriately and in a way that it would see the gaming table regularly.

First attempt. Got lots of good advice from MajorTom and grey_death after the fact... so the next one should be much better. I may still fiddle with it a bit... the brown around the edges is just wash which doesn't look quite right. I'll try mixing some powders with acrylic medium (like I did for the scorch marks on my Iron Clad) and work on the edges... that should finish it up.

And Brother Sergeant Fabrizio, of the Carcharodons joins the fray.

Finished my marine for Disjointed Entity, Brother Atsuchi. Really happy with how it turned out. New green. Another experiment... trying to make the sheet cork look like a paved road (in this case a blown up paved road).

Very cool git, my only suggestion would be to wash out the white stipes a little. a bit to bright. ti would also show some dimension in the road.
