This may have been posted already, but I couldn't find it.
I checked WHFB and 40k Chaos Daemons armys and they look pretty similar, 40k has more models though.
I was wondering (having not seen the codecies) whether I could use them for both 40k and WHFB?

I asked the exact same question on another forum since I too am attracted to the prospect of being able to play two different games but only buying and painting a single army.

Yep, it's possible. If you're clever, you can field almost the exact same models in one game as the other.

You just need to have interchangable bases.

You don't even need interchangable bases. Get movement trays with circular indents in them.

Or you can put magnets in your bases and use metal movement trays

If you make or modify your own movement trays, then that solves all of the base problems for everything on a medium base or smaller.

There would still be issues with the 60mm round and 40/50mm square mismatch for various models, but that can be worked around if you're willing to build sectional bases. In other words, mount the figure on a smaller base and either magnetize the larger bases so that you can connect the smaller base on top, or cut a hole in the larger bases so that the smaller base will fit into it.

It's a pity that WHFB has less models than 40k...
Thanks though!

The problem is though that you need alot more for Fantasy than you do for 40k. 20 bloodletters will sort you for 40k with no problem while 20 bloodletters in fantasy is a single unit.

Don't they give you both types of bases when you buy daemons, anyway? I know they do for at least the bigger models...
