This is my WIP for the crabspear guy.
I split this one with another Miercer, he got 2, I kept one, but I swapped arms to keep both the claws the right way up, as it looked odd with one upside down.

This is Pruul...I think..anyway....
He stayed on the back burner for ages, then one day I had some left over paint in my airbrus, and thiought I'd see what it looked like on him...the splatering effect was purely accidental, but now I use that to give interest to the other minis.

Just a little more and he will be: Done.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
I shuffled the bases around on some of my older minis to make better use of them in terms of size.
During this process I took Bloodmaw off his "ancient ruins" base and onto the lovely swamp base.
I also took the time to touch him up somewhat, added more washes, etc...
He now looks like this:

Automatically Appended Next Post:
I have finished the "bloody Big Dragon" but I am struggling to take decent photos of him...!

Have been reading some of this thread and how some KS are still aren't fulfilled. Hopefully Mierce can get some type of small business loan from the Co-vid pandemic. I'm in the U.S. so not sure if the U.K. is giving those out or not. It sucks for the KS people they deserve to get their mini's. I've bought about $1500 from them over the last 2 years (through their website) and always got my orders with high accuracy. I haven't went through all of it
yet but the team that picks the product and ship it do a highly accurate job. The majority has been BOGO free deals I've bought, but also have been pretty generous on the 25% off sales.

I've been holding off lately as they seem to be getting ahead of themselves selling unsculpted mini's, ones that are 6 months to a year out. I would caution people against that as Mierce can't really predict what the world is going to throw at them between now and then. Also, if worse comes to worse, you will no longer be able to do a credit card chargeback on something you bought 6 months ago. Co-vid is still here, and mini competition is getting very tough. There has been so many STL file kickstarters and hobbyists are printing them and turning around and selling on ebay, etsy, and other venues. Their mini's look nowhere as good as Mierce's final product, but they generally advertise the 3d image and not the finished product, so get plenty of sales.

So my advice is if they have it in stock, you shouldn't hesitate to purchase to help them out. The far out preorder stuff I would pass on.

I ordered stuff from them and it came through no problem.
That said I probably wouldn't order things not yer released.

At the end of September, the long-awaited Uuroch, Scion of Conand from our kickstarter projects begins production - and if you purchase the all-new, never seen before Tünguuska, Savage Hammerhook before midnight (GMT) on Monday the 21st of September 2020, you'll get his warlord, the aforementioned Uuroch, totally FREE!

Uuroch, sculpted superbly by Allan Carrasco from the artwork by Roberto Cirillo, has been around for a little while both as a concept and a kickstarter project and as we're fully committed to getting all of the miniatures from our projects sorted over the next couple of years he wasn't going to be far away from production. A Scion of Conand (meaning, a son of Conand himself, the lord of the deeps in the whale sea) is a Fíorfomor of the Fomoraic kindred and, of course, the Conand realm, and they find the tears of humans to be as sweet and intoxicating as wine is to humans themselves: hence the many and various phials and bottles about his waist! Standing on an 80mm base and around 78mm to the eye, armed with a huge harpoon spear and armoured with incredibly tough clamshell shield with his lord's mark, Uuroch may command all of the aquatic warriors within the Fomoraic and so is the perfect way to get your Conand host on the tabletop, especially as he's a powerful sorcerer to boot. We'll be expanding the Conand realm over the next few years and he'll be essential!

The expansion of the Conand realm, a realm of sea-devils and water-monsters driven to raid and pillage the lands above the water and reap souls for those beneath the waves, obviously means... more monsters!! So what better monster could there be for any aquatic host than a hammerhead shark-man, such as Tünguuska right here? Sculpted superbly by Allan Carrasco from the artwork by Des Hanley, in Darklands terms he's a hammerhook, and you only need to looks at those lethal-looking hook-sickles to understand why he is called such. Able to see threats all around him thanks to his unique vision, armoured with clamshell gutplate with Conand's mark and the scavenged nets and floats of the humans that dare to fish the seas of the lands of darkness, Tünguuska stands on a 100mm base and is around 100mm tall.

Emphasis is mine. All of the miniatures from our projects... next couple of years... wasn't going to be far away from production... Aren't they already a few years behind on some of those? I'm just a bystander looking through the shop/thread window but I think this was supposed to make people feel more confident about pledging. Very nice looking sculpts though as always.

That's gotta suck for the backers still waiting on the same minis. I suppose they could reorder them though and finally get it for full price or over cumulatively... Great deal for new customers though hands down.

they're clearing the backlog (mine certainly has a lot less in it than it did a year ago)

The KS backers who ordered Uuroch will be getting him around the time this offer releases
(unless their shipping pot is empty when it might need to wait on other stuff they have coming)

My backlog is dramatically less...from three pages to now only one page. I wish I could paint and assemble as quickly as they are shipping...

Greatly looking forward to the Realm of Conand expanding, at least to some smaller line troops.

They overextended themselves, and unlocked sculpts that werent really funded properly, They sold stuff when the pound was riding much higher against the dollar, and were by far too cheap on their estimation of how to price the metals. Those 10 man units originally sold for like 35 bucks, making them cheaper than Bones lol. Most importantly, haven't really grown their customer base, hence why they're having to do new sculpts to fund for molds on older sculpts. It is what it is, but they have been making solid progress, and have gotten the metal production in house. They ship the available stuff pretty quickly, so if something is near release I think it's safe to order.

My backlog has shrunk a fair amount, and I have metal 7 or 8 units in production now, so hopefully they'll be going out soon.

Yeah, going 'metal' is what really cause my backlog to build up and get stuck, apparently.

I was planning on gaming with all of these figures though, so I thought going with metal was the smart choice because of that.

Little did I know that it would consign me to Limbo for years on end...

EDIT:

Just noticed that there's a 'new' category when you look up your outstanding items - "in production"...

New half price offerings

https://mierce-miniatures.com/index.php?act=pro&pre=mrm_dkl_fmr_chd_wld_300_800

Shieldwall Goraakk the Ripper, Gabrax Gore-Horn on Tarvocx

Gore-Horns are Gabrax host champions, famous warriors that the chiefs of the Cursed Herd favour above all of their other warriors. Savage and brutal, these supreme fighters are greatly skilled in the arts of war and can often prove to be the difference in battle. Goraakk the Ripper, sculpted superbly by Bob Płociennik from the artwork by Kurt Jakobi, has been available unmounted for a while now (in three forms - Shieldwall Goraakk, Great Cleaver Goraakk and Two Cleaver Goraakk) but we thought it would be awesome to give this powerful warrior a mount. Being a host champion, he'd get one of the nastiest mounts the Cursed Herd would have access to - Aalgul the Tarvocx, a mighty bull-beast full of rage and anger - and we made sure it was spikily armoured where it would hurt most, namely on the horns! The miniature as a whole stands on a 110x70mm oval Darklands base and is around 100mm to Goraakk's eye, so it's the perfect large centrepiece for your Cursed Herd host as well as being a powerful warrior for your Darklands games!

We're also offering the mount without rider - in this case Aalgul, Goraakk's Tarvocx - at half price until Monday, with all the armour and saddle and tack; but without Goraakk, so you can pop your own rider on. We spoil you lot!

https://mierce-miniatures.com/index.php?act=pro&pre=mrm_dkl_fmr_blr_mbs_587_100

Not only, but also: here's Aalg, Charging Tarvocx, a mighty bull-beast without any equipment at all. Again, it's at half price until Monday should you want a huge no-nonsense bull-beast charging at your enemies!

https://mierce-miniatures.com/index.php?act=pro&pre=mrm_dkl_fmr_blr_mbs_587_000

Pre-ordering Goraakk on Tarvocx now is the only way to get him at half price: and once this pre-order offer ends - at midnight (GMT) on Monday the 28th of September 2020 - this deal will not be offered again and we will NOT be extending it nor reprising it. None of the above will be released to the general public until November / December as the October 24th date is when we begin production for these pre-orders. That means you'll get your order either in late October or early November, depending on when you've ordered!

Man, it's been a couple years since i last heard about Mierce. Are they still just barely staying afloat thanks to Kickstarter and don't deliver products people bought for 3-4 years?

Actually they've been chugging through that backlog and shipping pretty regularly. Take a look through the last few pages.

I know my awaiting orders page has shrunken drastically.

They've been running regular specials often mixing older, outstanding sculpts with fresh models often related to them at very competitive prices.

I know I've taken advantage of a few of those now and I doubt I'm alone in that!

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Half price giants and other 2 legged monsters

https://mierce-miniatures.com/index.php?act=cat&cre=off-gga

HALF PRICE GARGANTUAN GIANTS

Grab yourself some giants at half price until Monday, but only ten of each miniature is available!

For absolutely no reason at all (that we can think of), we thought we'd showcase our gargantuan monsters from our Darklands and BaneLegions ranges this week! A goodly number of our Darklands kindreds - especially the Albainn and the Norse - feature some utterly amazing giants, and we thought it would be awesome to offer all of these fantastic gargantuans to you at HALF PRICE - but there's two conditions. One, we're only offering TEN of each miniature at this price, and two, it's for THIS WEEKEND ONLY as it ends at midnight (GMT) Monday the 12th of October 2020, just a few days away, and it won't be extended!

also includes the 180mm tall Gomagg https://mierce-miniatures.com/index.php?act=pro&pre=mrm_gga_dkl_abn_ftu_mbs_801_000
