I guarantee that most of us on earth would either be killed by other Imperial citizens, killed by the xenos/traitors, or killed by the Imperial government because many of us would be too "free-spirited".

We would be likely trasported to 40k by some GW transdimensional machine and we would find that the Emperor is in fact a GW employe who pretends that he is nearly dead on a golden throne.

I would revel in my new freedom, since I would finally be able to seek out a cult of Nurgly Twists so that I could stop hiding my cloud of flies in my belly button. I would eat their current leader and slowly build up a massive planet-wide uprising that would turn the entirety of Holy Terra into a giant turd.

this sounds messed up but i would also start praying to the chaos gods i mean heck its the easiet 'kinda' way to gain power fast and since we all know the rewards and pitfalls of working for the dark side we would have an edge

I would prefer to roll with the Ordo Xenos or a Rouge Trader, as both of them would appreciate an incredibly well informed citizen (specificly an encyclopedic knowlage of tau and eldar background, tech and history not known to anyone else.) and aren't as kill-crazy as the Hereticus or as uncomprimizing and harsh as the Ordo Malleus.

That or try to give the Mechianus a swift boot to give them a jump start, or die trying.

I'd join the guard. Can't join the sororitas because you have to be raised by them, so i'd join the guard, and barring getting squished by a squiggoth, i'd rise through the ranks and eventually sell myself and my power to chaos, become a slaaneshi daemon prince, and live out eternity in style.

Well, I can't speak Imperial Gothic, so I guess my plan would be to tell Tzeentch he exists in a game of toy-soldiers.

Hopefully he'll think that's neat enough to warrent my ascension to daemonhood. More likely he'll just turn me into a melty blob.

Luckily doing latin at school for a few years means I can speak High Gothic well enough.

Really though i'd seek out the Eldar and help them, with my in depth knowledge of the Imperium its wars and locations of space marine planets I'd be able to screw over them facist fethers.

We first have to get past the langange problem. Gothic isn't latin. Latin is only used to repesent the langauge.
