If they're doing plastic upgrade sprues they need to be partial rehashes of the FW packs. There were critically-important weapons included in the FW packs.

If the sprue isn't at least 1/3rd hand flamers I will be disappointed.

But yeah... plastic upgrade frames. 'Bout damned time. Now do plastic Juves.

Certainly glad I still have at least half a box of the new Escher specialists and the basic troopers unbuilt. The plastics are alright, but not nice enough to get yet another box of just to use the new parts. Release alongside House of Blades would have been nice, but better later than never I suppose.

Interestingly, it's just Escher that's mentioned, not Goliath (who would have been the first if releases were in order, right?). No guarantee other gangs will get any additional ones...

Not sure what gangs are in the worst spot in terms of missing equipment from their base list, but (pricing of FW notwithstanding) Escher already have 4 (!) weapon packs, plus a specialist plastic box that offered something useful (plastic needle pistols). Won't say no to new heads though; distinctive Escher hairstyles tend to stand out when repeated.

I hope the Escher got all the basic weapon : Plasma pistol( or at least, the right hand Plasma pistol). right hand Autopistol. More shotgun with different pose. plasma gun, bolter , maybe some heavy weapon.

For melee weapon , axe, chainsword, maybe some new fancy power sword/ knife would do.

New weapon would be fine, but not new "meme" weapon,like the storm welder, please no.

As per the original game, each gang needs heavy stubber, heavy bolter and a good range of autoguns, lasguns and shotguns. With the amazingness of grenade launchers, its only fair they all get them, although Guard GLs are easy enough to come by it shouldn't matter. combat shotguns seem terrifying and probably should be more widespread.

Arguably, Van Sar don't need autoguns or shotguns, because of the equivalent las-weapons thy have access to. However, the las-shotgun thingy is super-expensive compared to the conventional equivalent, and I'm not sure how you stop dirt poor van saar duders from going to their local bike shop and getting a bank stick rolled out for them.

Then after all of that, add a couple of the signature weapons for each house. Chem thower, rad guns, etc.

Or just make everything knives and hand flamers...

Looks like end of year/ this time next year might be the time to finally jump in to Necromunda. All gangs with books, separate second box, upgrade sprue each..

Ha most likely. But if they fully finish one first then I’ll play at that snapshot in time.

We almost got there with fantasy 8th and I could have just kept playing that with all books updated in it.

Yup. The snake graffiti is Delaque logo.

Escher and Goliath Upgrade sets (Not FW?)

Yeah they look kinda plastic. Especially the ammo belts, FW usually has them separate and requires you to bend them into place.

A decent spread of weapons there. Still an unhealthy focus on flamers and hand flamers

Especially that everything is included twice. Seems like you get two copies of the same sprue per set (for whatever reason).

It's what they've done with the Marine Primaris Upgrades - same sprue twice (plus some transfers).

Making upgrade sets in plastic feels like a huge step forward for the game.

Those are some nice bits. I like how they include "Leader Arms" that are pointing. The Goliath one even has a cigar in the non-pointing hand. Give us more options like this, please!

The new propaganda transfer sheet is exactly what I was waiting for to spruce up my terrain, combined with the graffiti sheet this is looking like great Necro release.

They’re normal, it’s just the Goliath house style for weapons. Let’s them hold a melee weapon in their other hand I guess!

Escher one is almost an exact copy of resin Weapon Set #2, which is kinda good because that was the best one but also kinda bad because that's the one we all already bought, on account of being the best one. The Goliath one is more mixed with some brand new parts too, but the lack of a heavy bolter or stubber is real kick in the nads.

I bet these turn out to be more expensive than a single resin set for roughly twice the content.

I've one of the resin upgrade sets and they are great, but in plastic that's a very sweet deal if the price is right. And likely more affordable and mass market sold than through FW alone for upgrade packs. It's also the kind of upgrade pack I've wanted to see from GW in a long long while - chock full of one factions ideal options and just for that faction; a lot of value! Not like the vehicle upgrade pack they made that was near on useless (1 part for 4or 5 different armies....)

Mmhmm... Lice Cream...

Quite liking the plastic upgrade sprues.

Because if there’s one thing I hate more than working with resin, it’s fiddly resin.

And if there’s one thing I hate more than fiddly resin, it’s pissing around trying to superglue fiddly resin to plastic, and not my fingers.

Hopefully we’ll see the same treatment for the other gangs before too long.

As for the price? I reckon around £20 a set as a wild guess.
