I made sure I watched the game I lost so badly. Ironically all three of my statements from last game were correct.

You still have a lot to learn, but I feel weird being one of the more experienced players this game so soon after starting them.

After the second day I saw that any vote I made would be picked apart and suspicions thrown at me rather than at those I was trying to antagonise into voting. Shas'O seems to have realised the same thing and though we post a lot, we don't dare vote for fear of being targeted unfairly (in our eyes).

As a first time player (who has been waiting to play Mafia for about a year now since I saw a friend of mine playing a game of it) I'm trying to get involved and really enjoy the experience, which I have been doing, and I think I've provided plenty of explanations for why I act as I do. I am more than happy to explain anything that you see as suspicious, but I know I cannot allay suspicions as I'm loud and very public and there's no way of proving I'm not Dark Kin.

I think your comment was a bit out of line Arheiner, there's no cause to lose our heads at this point and the_ferrett is just making observations and trying to catch up.

Sir Bishop, if you feel you are unwelcomely silenced (as I've seen before) insead of defending yourself, would you mind informing me who, apart from the questionably suspicious Vulkan and Shas - who comes in as suspicious to you.

(OOC: Sorry guys, had some internet troubles over the last few days!)

Drk_O: I actually unvoted Vulkan quite a long time ago, and highlighted it to you when you missed it. I think you added my vote for Shas'o, but you've left it on Vulkan! Are you proofreading those votecounts before you post them? It actually says that i unvoted vulkan in the votelog!

Welcome, the_ferrett! Seems like you're being more talkative than your predecessor already

Lord-Loss has been quick to leap upon anyone who targeted himself or on any ideas which were outside of the box (ok, one of them was stupid, I admit that, but still). He's also been quite backward about coming forward, though a lot of it may simply be to extend the day for more discussion. However I feel he is a likely candidate for a Dark Kin, so he's my current vote of choice.

Arheiner has been very tortuous in some of his responses and has been heavy handed when dealing with votes and ideas he didn't like. But on the flip side he's also been quite flippant, so it's hard to know anything much.

Finally avantgarde. He has a pic of Jervis Johnson, so I can't see how he can possibly be on the side of good

Oh, and the flare up between yourself and Arheiner seems almost... staged. You arrive and then he jumps on you, with something perilously close to a personal attack ("what do you know, you failed last time")... Are you trying to cover up something between the 2 of you? If so, it was a little clumsy, so I'm probably just imagining it.

Mr Bishop, last time I participated in one of these, I was eliminated first round after trying to goad Mr EF and Mr .... Lord I think it was, into proving themselves to be innocent - which they were. Unfortunately my grandeur of my goading was considered scummy and suspicious. You'll find I'm a very.... loud person.

I haven't voted for a while so I'm going to re-affirm my position and vote for Lord-Loss

Vote: Lord-Loss

I think LL is a lot like me and is trying to find things out about people, but he's been muddying waters quite a bit and I feel that makes him suspicious.

What does 'muddying waters' mean?

I can how my constant pressure on Shas could seem suspicous but I want to lynch the right person, that person being the most suspicous vus the most likely to be a Dark Kin. Through pressuring Shas to explain himself I was trying to make sure we suspect the right people. If he comes up with an explanation because he was under alot of pressure and explains his actions then that would be awesome! By making sure we give him the chance to give that explaination I was helping to ensure we lynch the right person. If you look back through the last few pages, your see I have not being putting much pressure on Shas as before. Why? Because even under pressure of being under L-2, he still couldn't provide us an explaination. This makes him very, very suspicous too me, I will leave the Shas situation for a while. As he hasnt provided us an excuse and most likely possibly won't so I still keep an eye on him, but will be more focusing on answering questions such as this, so I can clear my name. Bishop, if you could give me a post with quotes from me that are suspicous and detailing where and why I was suspicous at that point. I still don't have a proper picture of why I'm suspicous, and If you so wish, I can do the same for my suspicon of Shas.

I guess by "find him suspicous" you mean that I ask for an explanation, which is only the right thing to do. So I can explain my actions about what I did and hopefully clear my name.

You must admit the way you handled the unvote was melodramatic. The act was innocuous but the tone was less so. Right now if Shas'o was lynched then you would have an "out" regardless of his role.

Either it's: "Look how I pushed for the lynch, and I was right."

or it's: "I tried to keep them off long enough for an explanation or discussion, but at least we have a list of suspects."

You're a fence sitter, which is what bothers me.

At this rate it seems we're heading toward lynching Shas'o out of lack of options.

OC: Meant to take this off. (Spring Break fuuu...)

I'm currently looking for voting patterns; only one has popped out to me. Twice Shas'o has followed Scarper's vote with one of his own towards the same person. Of course, Scarper has also been pretty vocal in his resignation to lynch shas'o. Maybe a genestealer trying to keep a newb from blowing his cover? Or maybe a poor innocent being stalked maliciously by a newb.

I am finding the sudden turn in public sentiment against LL to be rather interesting.

Not sure what you mean by "interesting" and by public you mean Arheiners LL/EF/Shas suspicon and Bishop right?

I'm always skeptical of these mass conspiracy theories. They just seem to rely on the belief that a small group of people will willingly work together. At this stage I'd be more likely to belief a decent arguament that had Shas, Vulkan and say.... Avantgarde (merely cause I needed a third until I work out who's suspicious) independantly and coincidently working together as the guilty ones. (Oh and what are the guilty parties called this time? Dark what?)

Vulkan accused his cheese sandwich of being suspicous.... and Avantgarde seems slightly suspicous of me but didnt present much evidence.

Well, for what its worth, your arguaments are persuasive. That said, after last time, I'm not voting first round ><. If I were to it'd be the Shas that got it.

People seem to be saying that a lot! I'm going to regret this if it turns out he's innocent, and obviously I'm new, so take this for what it's worth, but I think we should lynch shas'o today.

Loads of people seem to be saying they find him suspicious, but doing nothing about it! I'd say he's done enough to strongly suggest he's dark kin, and if he's not, he's done enough disruption that it would still be beneficial for him to be removed. If we don't lynch him tonight, the dark ones will clearly not kill such a widely suspected target, so not only will we give them a free night to play, but we'll probably waste a lot of tomorrow talking about shas'o too!

Like I said, if you are innocent Shas, I'm really sorry! But that's my thinking at the moment. We don't seem to be getting very far with anyone else, and as far as I'm concerned, he's raised enough suspicion to make the lynch worth the risk.

Oooh, and the_ferrett, they're dark eldar this time. Did you read the OP?

(OOC: @drk_O - that post came off way more aggressively than I meant it to, don't worry bout it! I blame the internet's lack of subtlety )
