It's stuff like 20,000 Rubedo, and 500,000 Polymer bundles, and at least 5 forma per important room, with even the cross halls costing 1 each.

Now that's just silly.

I would use a series of different words, but my sentiments are the same.

It requires $100 in platinum just to get the forma needed to build the bare minimum to research all of the weaponry.

DE has said that they expect small clans to hover around 50 players. On that scale, we're as nonexistent as our Dojo is and will continue to be until DE begins to cater to their player base.

That said, I've stated many times on the official forums that I believe the Dojo to be a waste when the game itself is sorely lacking in any real form of content at the moment, and that DE should not be devoting so many valuable resources and personnel to a pet project like the Dojos. After all, no one actually buys a game for the guild halls.

I think the "point" of the Dojos is kinda to be an end-game thing, as shown by the huge amounts of resources. And it's perfectly possible to get Forma as Alert rewards (I'm sitting on a Forma blueprint myself) or as rewards for logging in every day. The huge amounts of resources is apparently something most players start to build up as they reach the point where they don't need to or want to buy any particular weapon- or something they get in the process of grinding for the rarer ones. And the Dojos provide PvP content as well as extremely powerful, extremely expensive weaponry.

It's just that they're available right away, which somewhat 'encourages' people to try and build fancy dojos from day 1, and spend money on forma. (which, honestly, platinum isn't badly priced).

As someone with a Master account, platinum is horrendously priced. $20+ for a single frame or weapon is ridiculous. Not to mention that you have to buy potatoes for everything if you want to get a decent level of performance out of it (it doesn't help that there hasn't been a potato alert in ages outside of livestream alerts).

As for the Dojo, it's not end game content. It's just more grind in a game with nothing but. Short of the broken PvP, it doesn't contain anything to actually do. It may be a resource sink, but it is in no way adding any actual value to the game.

The worst, and most worrying part of all this is that DE has yet to make any statement in regards to the actual development of future content. They'll add new weapons every once in a while, maybe a new frame, but they do nothing to actually expand the game itself. It's simply more stuff to farm for. Update 8 brought on a lot of cool new toys, but was nothing but things to farm for. With no word on the development of anything resembling proper content, I fear this is what we'll get with update 9 as well.

Of course, this isn't the only time that DE has been painfully silent on matters that are important to their fans and their own game. There's currently a topic concerning the prices of platinum in the forums with over 500 upvotes in the first post alone, and DE has yet to even address it with a proper response. It seems the only thing that they're capable of saying in regards to any topic is "we're working on it."

There's only so many times before you can say "we're working on it" without providing any explanation or results before customers start to doubt your integrity and become fed up.

Fair enough. I've only ever bought plat with discounts, so I don't really pay the full price there.
