Honestly, since most of the new weapons in the update (there are over 20, supposedly), are supposed to be unlocked by the Dojos, I'd rather put resources towards getting those first. PvP in Warframe is going to be a horrendously balanced mess, so I don't see much point in making that a high priority.

Also, nobody buy the new sniper rifle. It's just a reskinned Snipertron. In other words, it sucks.

Ok I'll invite you, but yeah no PvP for now. I'll be an architect and no fafnir keys are individual unfortunately. I won't be using the dojo system for now and will be directing my resources towards orokin technology, of course I'll build the dojo for us.

Lastly there's 6-8 people invited in the clan but only 2 who have confirmed invites don't forget to confirm please.

And do make sure you confirm. We'll need all the help we can get to build those labs, so we can get all those cool weapons for everyone.

Another example of the game's less than stellar interface- it doesn't notify you of an invite- not even a change or flash in the proper tab.

OK, so I started playing this.

Wow, either I'm doing something wrong or leveling up must take a long time. Any tips where to go early?

just do a gak ton of missions to get credits and resources then build from there. whats your IGN?

Okay, the leveling thing is odd- the Warframe is separate from your own level- it's just another 'weapon' that levels up as you use it. Every time a weapon or warframe levels up, you gain 'experience' towards your user level, which is known as your Rank (or something).

But seriously, this game really would use some better tooltips / displays. So many things are unknown.
I did find Banshee blueprints but I won't be having the needed components for quite a while I guess.
Is Braton a good investment or should I stick to Braton-MK1 and save the money for something else?

Yeah, this game has an absurd wall for new players.

My guess is you only found the chassis blueprint. You'll also need to find the helmet and systems blueprints, forge all three, and then combine all three of those and an Orokin cell using the Banshee Blueprint.

I'd say the Braton is a very good investment. It carried me for a very long time after my reset (what with the bastards screwing up the entire market) It's a very solid, well rounded weapon that will work in any situation. The Mk-1 is simply an awful weapon that has no right to exist in the game, and you should replace it as soon as possible. Same with your Skana. Thankfully, the Lato pistol is actually a pretty good weapon.

After you get your Braton, I'd recommend saving up for the blueprints to build either a Dual Ether Sword or Fang, since those are both fantastic melee weapons that you can build very easily.

I been going with the Chronos- picked up the blueprints somewhere a couple times- sold the second one. Been working okay for me.

And I agree- the Lato is pretty brilliant.

If you ever end up fighting in close combat even semi-frequently, I'd recommend moving up to something better as soon as possible. The Chronos isn't very good.

In fact, none of the one-handed swords are very good at all. They can only hit one enemy, don't ignore armour, the damage is paltry, and too slow for what they do.

Oh, I'm getting the hammer as soon as possible. Need to get to level 2, though (or Rank 2).

Fragor is a solid weapon. Although I'd say Schindo (or Gram!) is better, once you get a reflex coil mod in them.

Schindo does 3* damage to non-ancient infested, and although Fragor's basic attacks do ignore armour, the charge attacks of both weapons do as well, and you'll probably want to be using the charge attacks of both of them as much as possible anyway (come late game, normal melee attacks start scaling very poorly, since the mods for basic melee attacks suck).

That said, they're all solid weapons, so you're not going to lose a whole lot by picking one over the other.

Ok guys, things are going pretty well for the clan. Were growing in size very well.
For some reason your all leaders in the clan so I'll have to demote you, all of you except fafnir. He's a good well rounded guy whos very knowlageble about the game. If he accepts he'll be my secound in command.
You guys are progressing very nicely your all progressing down a good path and are asking for advice for each weapons. Lastly what archetype do each of you guys want to be, if any specific type? I'm very much a speedy guy but if I strap on my Loki he's my CQB and "jester". If I'm lucky with I'll get frost PRIME within a few days. Sadly he doesn't come with platinum so I have a choice of what warframe to abondon :( unless I magically get money to get slots ;_;

I've had a lot of fun nuking stuff with Ember recently (I almost never get below 65% of the total damage done in any mission I do, and that's awesome). Ash is pretty underwhelming for me(which is kind of infuriating, considering the amount of time I spent farming the stupid bastard).

Although, considering how much I've enjoyed Vauban and Ember, and that I have my eye on Nyx now, I'm a big fan of the spellcasters. When they're done right. Not when they're done like Volt.

What frames do you have?

I wasn't around to participate in the Frost Prime event, but honestly, if they're going to go giving out frames at events, they should at least provide the slot for it.

If it's any consolation, Frost is just a Snowglobe on a stick. Granted, Snowglobe is crazy good, and it's always good to have one around for defense missions, but his gameplay isn't exactly diverse.

Frost was actually my original favourite frame, and having a prime version of it is a dream I want to build a nice orokin armoury with prime weapons and him as my frame.
Shame though, I've spent weeks trying to get ash only for my dreams to be crushed, he's the only frame I've felt disappointed with. So I guess I'm forced to sell him after he's lvl.30, unless as I've said before I magically get money for slots.

Ash's shuriken was buffed during U8, and is now absolutely amazing, but I'm just not 'wowed' by anything else he offers. Stealth is stealth, and I don't like how invisibility works in this game. His teleport is pretty lame, since it has such a long recovery, and his ultimate, while no doubt effective, isn't anything mindblowing (although Vortex's throw-able utility and World on Fire's flat out awesomeness may have made my standards a little unrealistic).

His hard stats are fantastic (seriously, look at those values), probably the best overall in the game. While his skillset isn't terrible by any means (seriously, shuriken is insane now), and is actually quite versatile and capable of getting pretty much any job done, it's not particularly interesting.

Yeah he's quite bland, I'm a big fan of the casters so im excited for some frost action

ok, ive started the build of 2 parts in the dojo, a reactor and a cross ceonnector. ive put ALL my credits into the crosss connecter and a few spare resources and its 31% don't, please pitch in.

Dangit. I wanna be a Frost! I basically want to go for Battlemage- Big and Stompy if you get too close, but with the ability to deal some damage at range- being able to Shield is also pretty awesome.

Thus, Frost with a Hammer. Once I can get to that.

sure, I wont be using frost as my main frame, frost can be yours I recommend a frost prime if you can get it. also guys the dojo is up and ready just need you to put in the resources

Is the Prime mechanically better than the basic frame?

its bonuses are small but the passive things are good, it can 2interact" with orokin tech, which would be better if DE told us what it did and IMO its easier to get, kind of.

It would be easier to get if void keys ever dropped. I have yet to see a single one, and I won't be spending any platinum on them.

Nyx is okay, I guess. As far as I'm concerned, she only has two skills (which, disappointingly, is still better than half of the frames available), and although they're kind of fun to play around with, they're nothing game breaking. Aesthatically speaking, she's definitely my favourite frame, but it's still difficult to find an actual reason to use her over the INFERNO CHICKEN.

As for the primes, they come with an additional polarity slot (which can be an advantage or a disadvantage, depending on what mods you plan on using, and the polarity of the new slot), and as Apostle said, they interact differently with Orokin tech... which we have yet to see yet. So there's not much to really worry about if you can't get the Primes.

Especially since the Primes look really bad with the extra helmets, and Frost's extra helmet is sooooooo good. And looks pretty cool.
