Well I Joined to see what you all think of my army and see if I can get help when needed. I am creating my own army called the Blackjacks. I named them that because, well its a long story... Basically I am in the US Army Infantry, I have been deployed 3 times for a year each and I have been blown up 21 times, wounded several. I figured it would be cool to make an Army based off that. I'm trying to create a back story for them but I'm not too good at that kind of thing. I'm hoping to find someone who is good at that kinda thing.
Anyway, I have put up a few pictures of my army thus far, and i will be updating them as I get them built.

no army list yet, im working on a very heavy army but im more making it for the fun of modeling and painting than to use for the game. I do need to make a list i think so i dont jsut paint a bunch of random stuff lol i will get that up asap, ill throw it on my profile.

21 times??? WOW. What kind of army are you looking at? Imperial Guard might be the closest "future" version of the US Army, though I could see you trying out Space Marines, too.
Or you could do Black Templars - maybe it would go better with your Blackjack theme. Pics follow:

yeah i am making a space marine army, I am sticking pretty close to a red corsairs, Black Templar paint scheme, you can check out what i have done so far in my gallery, I love the conversions and making each piece special so i have lots of pictures.
And thanks everybody for your kind words you are all super awesome and i appreciate the respect an thanks! Its for people like you that i keep fighting, not for the stupid politicians and douche bags!! lol

They should kind of be like the bastards in inglorious bastards but instead of nazi killing there guys who hunt and kill rogue IG or leadership that has falling in with chaos

I love that idea about killing the rouge IG thats perfect i like it, I have them set up right now as some ork stompers but i need another group or people as their core enemies, I was thinking necrons but thats an even better idea, i love it! thanks!
