Subject: Shieldwolf Miniatures- Official News thread (revealed page #91: Sisters of Faith - space paladins)
We will be uploading a video of both sci-fi and fantasy.
Here we are showing photos from the Talliareum sprues, we trust people are going to find the assembly options pretty ample for both Sisters of Talliareum and Sisters of Faith.
Once again we have worked with the English company Renedra so please expect the quality to be similar to our previous plastic kits.
I really like the tanks and the fantasy ogre/matriarchs, but I'm a bit confused about the syfy ogre/matriarch, and I'm really confused about those birdmen (birdwomen) ^^.

The tanks are tempting and will likely stay tempting even once those other sci fi nuns hit. Finally a flamer that might satisfy my heretic-burning needs.
Looking for a Skaven Doomwheel banner to repair my Nurgle knights.

Some parts of the videos are not so good due to the video itself been shot by a cell phone camera and not so in focus.
We hope it gives the general idea though of what we have created. Currently we have 2 out of 4 members in bed, so the other two of us remaining are trying our best to answer questions and inform as much as possible.
Apologies for any inconvenience.
More close ups as requested of the first of our series of vehicles from our new sci-fi range.
Needless to say that the better the paladins go, the faster we can release the wolf and dragon versions :-)
Sweet, I like the quite brutal look. This feel massive, very in-your-face, no subtlety, quite suitable for religious fanatics . [edit]Also how can I learn how to do the effect on the lights on the front of the tank? Works pretty well![/edit]

@Hybrid Son
We like using good quality paintjobs for our range (and not just lazily putting up a render or the unpainted miniature, sure, it saves on costs but it's unprofessional/amateurish in our opinion and we don't work that way).
You can look up and ask Petros DirtyBrushes from FaceBook, the painting studio we chose to deal with the tanks. These were our first ever sci-fi vehicles and we really wanted to do them justice; we are very pleased with both the result and the acceptance from the sci-fi community whom we had never dealt with before.

Thanks .

Got mine today! No idea yet how to post pics, but I uploaded a bunch much of images of a box set into my gallery, so take a look if you are so inclined.
Looking forward to having money again to buy more and a few tanks.
Urusei Yatsura, Cerebus the Aardvark, Machiavelli, Plato and Happy Days. So, how was your childhood?
Mine arrived. They look very sci-fantasy, in that the bodies, arms, shoulder pads, and helmets are shared among the sci fi and the fantasy sprues, in a similar fashion to old Mantic minis. I think it works, but I imagine that fantasy players who want a more grounded aesthetic might have an issue with the armor design.
The weapons are really cool! The bolters are more "true scale" for human minis, which will be great for conversions. The swords and hammers are fancier than what you would find in a historical kit, great for heroes. Unfortunately, the helmetless heads are pretty bland. I will probably try to replace some of them with some Eccentric Minis helmets, some of Mantic's new MaA helmets, or some Sheildwolf Shieldmaidens heads.
The bodies seem to be on the larger side, a plus for me but not for some, and the poses are dynamic. The detail seems pretty clean and sharp. It may be quite some time before I get to assemble any, but I'll post pictures when I do.

We are seeing the paladin kits being tampered with, some using also goodies from their Shieldmaidens kits(s).
Here are some posted on Facebook combining stuff from 3rd parties also. Conversions are after all a great part of our hobby! :-)
In the meanwhile we are going to let December go by and then move on to our next Kickstarter for fantasy, "War is Coming: Reinforcements"!

Nice looking conversions.
What happened to the Forrest Goblins KS?

My advice from building these four: carve out some more neck space from the torso halves or else cut down the neck. The back does not fit perfectly flush against the front of the torso without some cutting; instead I used thick glue to fill in the gaps, but they are still noticeable if you look for them. The arms are not labeled, but more than the bend of the elbow, the style of wrist attached to the weapon is what really matters to the pose.

The KS preview page should be up for public view/feedback next month.
They look pretty nice on the whole, tbh... but man, those shoulder pads kill them for me. It is freaky how much better do the Sisters of Silence ones look on them.

Ok cool, so you just changed the campaign name, is the KS just for forest goblins?

@Albertorius
We have already sculpted and should be making additional optional pauldrons available in the next weeks via our webstore.
@Original Timmy
The campaign starts with the Forest Goblins, if the campaign doesn't fund, then they are not happening.
We will be happy if the project simply funds. ZERO chances of cancellation (since some people see it differently from us and it isn't doing anyone any favours apparently); this is do-or-die for the little green fellas.
If we go further, we have more goodies for the Forest Goblins but also optional hard plastic sprue upgrades for the Shieldmaidens, plastic srpues for halberds for the Sisters of Talliareum, heroes, Krumvaal, warmachines etc etc.
Another difference is that a preview page will be made available next month for direct input from our supporters. This will be like 2-3 weeks before launch.
Thank you in prior for taking a look, we hope our work pleases you! :-)

I’m not a fan of the sword at all. Sorry. The rest of the model is using found stuff, feathers scraps of cloth and wood for shields, but then a huge (for the size of the model) metal sword? If there was only one or two per frame for a captain then I could see it as a looted item, but if it’s for every goblin it just seems to break the mood of the model.
