Well, my friend is coming to stay at my house next week, and I want to introduce him to 40K =3
We already played a few (very small) games and he seemed to enjoyed it (he wanted to play another, and when I let him win, we was talking 'bout his victory all night ) So, next week I was thinking 'bout playing a few 'necromunda' games, since he's really into RTS and RPG's.
I have an (soon to be) 1000 point SM army, 500 point Eldar, 500 point Ork and a few kroots lying around.
Got any tips on how to trick him in the hobby?

Tie your friend up in your basement and stick Dark Eldar under his fingernails.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made. |

Refamiliarize them with the basic rules, and then play escalating games. Start with a little tiny game (squad versus squad or so) and build up to a 500 point game using two armies.

Yeah, Necromunda is somewhat complex. The combat is easier in 40k, all things considered. Escalate to about 750 points so he gets some practice with GW's rules (they just port the same system into all their games anyway) before you go to Necromunda. Necromunda is fantastic if he doesn't want to throw down the money for an army, and it generally takes less time to play. On a similiar note, I run the RPG club at my school, and with a =I=munda compaign I actually enforced our policy on using mini's (which I am supplying and painting for the most part). It brought in a new player, who is looking to start a 40k army now, and has another seriously looking at joining the campaign. Good times to be had by all.

Make sure he wins his first game, but don't make it look like you're letting him win.
I don't know, play casual.

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k. Rule #1 - BBAP
