The distance between myself and my awesomer half is a little too big for us to be able to afford to do much this year, but I'm sending her a card. I'm also writing her a poem

I'm thankful every day that my Girl is not really into "halmark" moments,she's much more into real life enjoyments,and for that I consider myself blessed.
So for Valentines day we will most likely have a little dinner for two in a quiet spot,go to see a film she want's to see and then have a night alone without the kids.

Well, I'm single right now. I might end up going to Universal Studios with a female friend, though I haven;t decided if I'm interested in becoming more then friends.

I think the extent of my amorous activities for that day will consist of a microwaved cantaloupe with a hole in it.

Well, for 3 dollars our school will deliver a rose to whoever you wish on Valentines day. (Or rather, the day after as Valentines Day is on a Sunday).

That's my plan.

Maybe I'll build up the cajones to ask her to the formal...some time.

Will probably leave it late again and go for some wilted flowers from the petrol station, a shoddy box of chocs from Lidl and a microwave lasagne for two. All followed by giving the missus a damned good seeing too.

Drinking while Mrs.Khornholio makes dinner. She will be barefoot and we'll work on spawning Khornholio jr.

In Japan, the women do stuff for the men on Valentine's day.

I can't stand Valentine's day, my gf loves it tho, I loathe the fact that hallmark have invented the day solely because they noticed low post-xmas sales.

But usually I have to make the effort to make the mrs happy lol.

however this year due to funds we've agreed to tone it down \o/

On the other hand, i've never been a Valentine's day fan. However, it's a good day to make up for all the year's crap so, i'll have to behave and sacrifice one totally normal day (for me) for the happiness of us both.

Yeah but that leaves you a month to do plan for white day.

I'm surprised that nobody picked up on the actual holiday being a pagan, Roman, holiday called Lupercalia...So, get naked and run around your city with but the skin of a recently slaughtered goats draped over your shoulders followed by some serious drinking and a romp with whatever minx was attracted to your manly virtue swinging in the breeze.

The commander/missus has informed me that I am going to cook a romantic dinner and buy a couple of chick flicks which I will then be forced to sit through. I did attempt to bring up Khornholio's point about her being Japanese and all but she said since we live in the U.S., the whole "when in rome" rule applies. The promise of being richly rewarded was given however (see the note on Lupercalia).

Well I've not long got back from the shops £3 on a card featuring two monkeys, one in a basque, and £25 for a tea pot from a set the missus collects. Tomorrow will have to go out again and get some decent food and drink so the total should be around £50-£60. It would be cheaper to get a hooker!

Meh, never really bothered for valentines day, lack the money (like always) to do anything on it so it'll just be another normal day for me.

I was wondering why my girlfriend immediately turned me down on going for a trip up there. That or she was moving away...
