Why hello there!
About me, I'm a college student and got into 40k in the beginning of my senior year at High School because my friend was in need of some money and he sold me his guard army. I played DOW for the last couple years which helped me get into it. I have around 3k points of Imperial guard.
I'm not the greatest painter. But I'm repainting all the models I bought to a Necron Blue and Shining Gold color scheme.
I call them Shenanigans Brigade for now.
Just got my first basilisk. Just finished painting it before I posted this.

I sadly don't have any washes. Theres know GW near my campus to get some. I usually buy some when I visit home on a weekend or during a holiday. The gold isn't as bright in person. I had my lamp shining directly on it which made it look really bright.
