So, I'm really new to 40k. I searched craigslist to find a bargain and thought I may've stumbled on a decent one. I'm actually kinda bummed.
Basically, 3 codexes and a box of the old Space Ork Battleforce still on sprue's. It has 16 boys, 5 bikes, a 'trukk' and a buggy. The boyz are normal sized but all the drivers and the vehicles are smaller than I expected.
The codexes are over 10 years old and there's no way I'm fitting 12 boyz in the trukk. The truck is tiny. I think there's more plastic in 12 boyz.
Anyway, I suppose if the bikes and the buggy can be used in tournies I'll get over it. Is any of this OOP stuff still tourney playable? The codexes are cool in that I've never read them before but I suppose they're pretty dated.
What do you think?

You don't have to actually put them in the Trukk.

If anything is definitely oop it's those codices. As for the Orks you can't really tell without pictures.

Craigslist , like gumtree is full of scams and junk.
The models may be ok, I still have old marines from RT times and they have an outing every now and again to make up numbers for apoc games.

To answer your question, yes the vehicles are legal. As to your predicament, did you pick them up in person? I am sure if you go to your FLGS some experienced players can help you get on the right path.

Yeah sounds like your models are fine and the codices are old, just flog them on eBay and buy a new one. The model scale doesn't change over time so even OOP stuff is fine. You've probably done fine. Upload a pic and let us see anyway. Welcome.
