Ok, Im tired of Hearing the guesses and the uninformative apparent rumours, Let's put it to a Poll and see who ends up being correct

Voted DE - it wont be but I would love it to be!

My sister's cousin's best friend has been dating Jervis's best friend from high school and word on the street is after blood angels they will finally be bringing back squats, only they are changing the name and design and idea completely. They will be part 1 of a 5 book inquisition codex series (hence the removal of the daemonunters book, etc). They will be power armored and be able to take plasma weapons without the gets hot rule. The new white dwarf model was apparently a secret preview for what their armor will look like.

Inquisition, of course.

- CSM are fine, don't need a new Codex
- Necrons are next year
- Dark Eldar aren't ever going to get another Codex update
- Tau is too soon
- Eldar could do with an update, but are also too soon

While I guess Inq need a update pretty bad, I'd hate to see a back to back imperium release. Voted DE cause I play DE YAY FOR BEING BIAS!

I going to stick my neck out and go with Crons, though logically it has to be DE (especially as some people have seen some sculpts). Inquisition looks a possibility, but two Imperial Codexes in a row again?

I heard that necrons are comming sometime soon, as is =][= ...but I think CSM might get an update...and then there's all the Dark Eldar talk on the web. And people throw Tau in too.

Edit: Inquisition is on top, so it's probably them. Dark Eldar is next so far (probably the 'hope factor') followed by crons, but not many vote CSM, I'd think there'd be a massive 'hope factor' there, haven't people been complaining about the CSM book since it came out!?

I guess not. They eventually get a new 'dex in 2020.

Why are CSM and Eldar even up there? There respective codices are too new to get an update so quickly. It will either be Crons or Inquisition. Both need it very, very badly and both could be fairly popular. I voted Crons only because they need it more, and I would like to think that GW wouldn't release 2 imperial codices in a row....

My vote is on some SM Codex in autumn, possibly non-Inquisition Grey Knights.
Then Dark Eldar end of the year. Necrons next year.

If they do pull a '2 imperial codex in a row' debauchery then everyone who believed that 'imperial, xenos, imperial' chain should line up and let a deffrolla ram them.

Rumours are quite strong that Inquisition will not be part of Grey Knight and Sororitas updates. See all those "Any rumours on my favorite army?" threads.

I thought CSM Codex was written for 5th ed. Probably won't see a new one until the ed of 5th or 6th.

I just pray for not another "written for the next dex" Ork Codex. We're already strange, we don't need another dex of 'by RaI it could be this'.
