5 complete robed bodies, and a whole hell of a lot of other bits. I can take some pictures of mine, if you really need them

Yeah, it comes with twice the advertised sprues. Fantastic set if you play MEQs in general.

I can tell you the extra sprue in the DA Veteran box is really worth it.
I guess you'll find it at the GW site.

When I ordered the upgrade kit I got 10 bodys and 8 heads. Many backpacks as well, not sure how many. They have arms with bolters attached, but not the other hand to support the rifle. If you have the guns to put on them and the bases I'd go with that. Only problem is that there are only a couple poses for the legs. More body types than legs.

Indeed. I don't know whether anyone should make any noise about this, but this has to be a mistake. 17.50€ for 10 Dark Angels Space Marines + tons of bitz including Terminator parts. I'm 100% sure we're supposed to only get one of the large 2 part sprues for 5 men total. I've ordered four of these DA upgrade kits and got double sprues each time. Intentional or not, they are the cheapest Space Marines GW has on offer. A Tactical Marine box costs 30€ and has parts for 10 men. If GW only shipped one of the DA sprues per order, 10 of the robed Dark Angels would come to 35€ which would make sense because the added bits would cost 5€, but since they send twice the sprues per order they're actually dirt cheap.

For the pricing. The bases don't come with, which is a bit. The arms aren't ideal with just the bolter arm. Most importantly the packaging is just an envelope. No artwork/picture on the box or anything like that. They make money off of it for the same reason they make money off of the battleforce boxes. Little to no packaging.

The upgrade sprues are great, but I like more variety in the legs. 4 of one pose, 4 of another, 2 of the last. 5 body types with 2 of each. 2 of each head. So if you want cheap marines that look very different from the average marine and have the bits to finish them off then do the upgrade sprue every time. I'm not sure if I'll get another as I want the unit to really stand out as unique, but I'm very glad I bought the one I have.
