I'm just getting back into wargaming.

I started out painting marines (I was into models, and painting models) after painting a lot of gundam and airplane models some 15 years ago.

Eventually I got into Heavy Gear (A dreampod 9 product for those who know it) and I've been involved extensively in that ever since.

I had a few armies about 6 years ago. I've painted a rather large Dark Angels army, some 70-100 marines of various sorts, and multiple vehicles. My buddy and I sold it off though, and I sold off all of my own Imperial Guard and Tau forces when I joined the US Navy back in 05.

I got a few good deals with Tau when the apocolypse stuff was coming out, and I'm just now starting to put it all together. I've got half a dozen battlesuits made, I'm doing them all up with magnets, so I can simply swap the weapons, instead of gluing them. I'll have to figure out how to load images up on here to show my progress.

I also plan on (eventually) re-making my guard army. I've got about all the Tau I want, save just a few things, but 90% of it is on my shelves now. But the Guard are my true calling, I'm just upset that I found out now that they're more expensive than they were last year I'm holding out though for hopefully, more plastic guard models, such as plastic kasrkin/stormtroopers, or plastic veterans (shotguns anyhow)

So yeah... That's my gaming background in a nutshell. I used to come here back years ago, so I decided to see if it was still around, and it obviously is, so I signed right up.
