The only real problem I could see you getting into, if your whole entire army seems to be painted in that very same method. Yes it is a very cool look to be sure, but Im more worried about the army drowning itself out.

But saying that, again it looks pretty damn cool. Like lava Orks or something

The land of cotton.

Pretty, but a bit monochromatic and too clean for an Ork looted vehicle. It's too pristine looking.

Needs a good coat of grime, battle damage and a bunch of grots crawling around on the outside of it.

Honestly, I was going for the clean ork feel. Just wanted something a little different, that looks decent, for orks anyways lol

I personally dont believe that all Orks just beat the piss out of their vehicles, and do not take care of them. I think alot of Orks have a tremendous pride in the vehicles they have (be it a bike or a tank) So in thinking that, I think as long as the vehicle looks nice and Orky, making it look like a rolling toilet isnt the best way to go. It doesnt make sense to me any other way

That's a great looking looted tank, but I have to agree with some of the other posters that you could use some grime, extra armor plates and/or grots running around on it. Something like this: http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/248603.page

It is the 3rd Millennium. For more than a hundred months Games Workshop has sat immobile on the Golden Throne of Nottingham. It is the foremost of wargames by the will of the neckbeards, and master of a million tabletops by the might of their inexhaustible wallets. It is a rotting carcass writhing invisibly with business strategies from the early Industrial Revolution Age. It is the Carrion Lord of the wargaming scene for whom a thousand veteran players are sacrificed every day, so that it may never truly die. Yet even in its deathless state, GW continues its eternal vigilance. Mighty battleforce starter-sets cross the online-store-infested miasma of the internet, the only route between distant countries, their way lit by a draconian retail trade-agreement, the legal manifestation of the GW's will. Vast armies of lawyers give battle in GW's name on uncounted websites. Greatest amongst its soldiers are the Guardians of the IP, the Legal Team, bio-engineered super-donkey-caves. Their comrades in arms are legion: the writing team and countless untested rulebooks, the ever vigilant redshirts, and the writers of White Dwarf, to name only a few. But for all their multitudes, they are barely enough to hold off the ever-present threat from other games, their own incompetence, Based Chinaman - and worse. To support Games Workshop in such times is to spend untold billions. It is to support the cruelest and most dickish company imaginable. These are the tales of those times. Forget the power of sales discounts and Warhammer Fantasy Battle, for so much has been dropped, never to be re-published again. Forget the promise of cheaper digital content and caring about the fanbase, for in the GW HQ there is only profit-seeking, Space Marines and Sigmarines. There is no fun amongst the hobby shops, only an eternity of raging and spending, and the laughter of former employees who left GW to join better companies.

Best looking Ork Dozer blade i have ever seen o_o
most people tend to over look such details.

The painting is top notch but ... such smooth blending of orange and yellow , it gives off a very organic Chaos feel.

Is it orange or red? ( because red goes fastaa! )

I dont agree with the above at all....Kudos to you for doing something not much seen and not expected great paint job, and great idea....

my only suggestion is if you go for the mono chromatic scheme sometimes it really helps to break it up with grays, blacks, browns, and whites....

I think it looks great, but doesnt say orks imo. Says chaos a little to me. I always imagine orks being more colorful. BUt its your army and you did a good job with the paints.

This really doesnt look like your reading the rules and read the oops wrong button for looted wagons: Oops Wrong button, If in the moving phase of using an ork wagon roll a 1 you move 15 inches ahead.

Thats really why I dont use looted wagons

I like it alot! colours are brilliant. If i have one criticism its that (other than directly from the front) it doesn't look very orky. it could do with some grots or just some extra armour slapped on the sides ect.
Very nice job though

That looks great!
But I think it feels a little chaosy with the paintjob.

The real threat to the imperium is not:

it is :
92% of teens have moved on to rap. If you are one of the 8% who still listen to real music, copy and paste this into your sig.
95% of teens would go into a panic attack if the jonas brothers were about to jump off the empire state building copy and paste this if you are the 5% who would pull up a lawn chair grab some popcorn and yell JUMP BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GENERATION 6: The first time you see this, copy and paste it into your sig and add 1 to the number after generation. Consider it a social experiment.

How am I not reading the rules for looted wagons just because i made one, scar? maybe I am misreading what you said. And the don't press dat rule is funny as hell, if I didnt appreciate rules like that, I wouldn't play orks.

I love it. I cant tell if its really good blending or airbrushed (a compliment!). That being said I think including a darker color in the scheme would balance everything out.

As for it not being "orky" enough.... Orks are the most prolific and individualistic race in the galaxy.... kultural variations make anything possible! Keep up the good work!

you beat me to it.... The possibility of self inflicted disaster is what makes orks ... orks, and skaven ... skaven. if you dont embrace it, you are letting the min max tournament scene rob you of half the fun of the army.

Oh and i love the paint scheme, doing bright orange plates on my sons orks as we speak. still green skin and all, but i love the work you have done.

Nice paintjob though I must say that you should paint the crewman in different colors to make him stand out more,

because now it's just like he's part of the vehicle

keep it up

Not to mention is says nothing about moving 15 inches. It says must move directly forward as far as possible. And looted wagons do not move more then 12 inches (red paint job aside) Besides everyone knows that plonking a looted wagon behind terrain or a unit is how you go around that little misshap anyways.

I also love the random WTF of playing Orks, in fun games anyways. Infact, every single game I took my boomgun, Ive rolled 1s instead of blowing something up.

"Straight Fething Silver" Tanith first and only

I have a reputation, Modile, a reputation as a fair, honest man who treats his soldiers well and supports them in the face of darkness. Potentially, that reputation makes me soft. It seems I understand failure and forgive it. Some, like Kowle, believe me to be a weak commissar, not prepared to take the action my rank demands. Not prepared to enforce field discipline where I see it failing. I am an Imperial commissar. I will enflame the weak, support the wavering, guide the lost. I will be all things to all men who need me. But I will also punish without hesitation the weak, the incompetent, and the treasonous.
I am a Commissar. I am empowered to deliver justice wherever I see it lacking. I am empowered to punish cowardice. I am granted the gift of total authority to judge, in the name of the Emperor, on the field of combat.
