Hello all,

i wanted to introduce myself.
My name is Jacob Jager, i live in the Netherlands in the town called Zwolle.
I am a student, 21 years old. I study History. I have the great priviledge of having a girlfriend whom also enjoys
playing wargames. ( Just not as enthousiasticly as i am..... Unles she is winning. )

As a part timer, i work in a smithy. We do all kinds of repairs, from juwelery til clocks
machinery to clocks. Besides repairs i do the fun stuf, like modifying old antique guns or restauring then in original state,
or cast my own miniatures. I have worked for casters ( Both metal and non-metals), laser cutters. artists and
even a medievil blacksmith.

Anyway, wargaming is my big hobby. I love playing large scale battles, or small scale skirmishes.
Against anyone whom is atleast as enthousiastic as me.

In the past i had an exstensive Black Templar army. That was, until i realised that altough they are to the coolest SM
legion around, i had a more affinity to the plain simple old humans.

So i made a big Imperial Guard army. Atm i can bolster 125 Infantry, 12 tanks and 8 sentinels and its growing.
( I started 4 months ago. all are not even primed or based. :( )

On the side i have an Old VC army around 2000 points, and a new one ( All the new models i mean ) of about 1500 points.
( Characters are not included in these point values. )

I played Mordheim and Necromunda for a time, The Undead and Clan Escher.
At the moment i am experimetning with Bloodbowl, with Humans. Just purchased the starter kit, and i am enjoying myself with it.

My girlfriend plays Dark Elves in Fantasy ( her main, my reason for having Fantasy altogether ) and Necron in 40K.

Anyway, enough about me.

I hope i will enjoy my stay here. And may i never cross a rule, or offend someone.

Welcome to dak dak! My wife likes watching me paint and thats it.....i wish she would stop watching me paint and actually play. Nice find on woman!

Well, atleast you dont have arguments with her about a game.
Christel is a sore loser, and she has been playing fantasy for only like 2 years now
and 40K for just several months. I have been doing tournaments and allot of games for
some ten years. She loses to me allot.

But the plus side is, that she is getting better and better at it. We hope to be able
to join as a team in our next tournament. And we are both waiting for the Necron
to have a rules update, so we can own together at 40K

At the moment she is playing an Orc team in bloodbowl, and constently kicking
my poor human ass. No tactic, just smash and bashing them to the box, taking
the ball and then casually walking to the line. Ah anyway, its 4 to 1 now,
and we have loads of fun with it.
