Well I thought it was about time I said hi to all here, so sorry for being late with this, the names Phillip, but everyone calls me Phill (yeah I know real original user-name, but it's easy for me to remember this way LOL), I used to be in to model making a lot when I was younger (mainly Airfix, Revell etc.) but gave up for a while (14 years to be precise), got back in to it mid '09 and then caught the 40K bug from a friend.

At the moment I field a D.I.Y. SM chapter that I've called the Imperial Falcons (pictures to follow, but be warned my painting standard is dip it in the pot style), but I haven't painted 'em all yet (whatever possessed me to buy that battleforce?), but hopefully once I finish (?) I'll use the Orks in the AOBR box set, which I might just do as a clan from the book.

Anyway I'll leave it at that and get back to painting .

Phill.

Welcome, Phil.

Consider buying Army Painter spray paint- they come in many colors that may get a good basecoat to speed up the painting process.

Hi Necanor, I'm using Mordian Blue and Gore Red in the main on a Chaos Black undercoat, I've posted some pictures of some of the figures I've done that need to be finished off below.

Hi Ram , yeah I've heard good things about Army Painter sprays, with the rest of the Battleforce to do I may just give them a try thanks for the suggestion.

Apologies for the Pictures but I did warn you that my skill is not so good it would also seem my photography skill is also on the same par.

That's a very original color scheme, a nice blend of warm and cool colors.
It wouldn't look that bad on a table to have a good sized army painted like that- it's the overall appearence that matters not each seperate model, unless it's an HQ choice ..
