Agree with the Doom look; it appears as if the Cyberdemon and Spiderdemon had a baby. I'm still on the fence about it.

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1

I am disappointeed. It looks pretty cool, but not nearly so neat as I had hoped.

I do foresee it being used in a mess of conversions though. It quite possibly will be used less for its intended function than it's numerous stand in possibilities.

No idea where I'm fitting that in to an army, but my Khorne demons could surely deal with it? And its 2 brothers??

I like it. i wouldn't mind seeing a choas space marine lord with those leg bitz too (ala sorpid from the Soul Drinkers..)

I'd say I was disappointed but I wasn't expecting anything. The plastic Bloodletters, on the other hand, look like they're worth a pack or two at a discounter.

I would love to see this thing converted to carry an Inquisitor scale bolter. That would look so great.

Well sculpted but uninspiring. Really pushes the mechanical centaur thing and doesn't bring anything new to the table. Not sure what I was hoping for, but this wasn't it.

It's not BAD, but it's not GREAT either.

Well I wonder how much it will cost. It might be cheaper for me to get a defiler and convert it, than buy one from GW.

I enjoy it. A very cool Iron Warriors daemon prince possibility. I think with some conversion work he could be much more awe inspiring than he actually is.

Better than I expected, actually. I was expecting a defiler with some spawn tentacles sticking out of it. Makes me glad I sold my soul to chaos.

In my never ending quest to avoid getting anything done at work, here are all the various pics I've managed to find so far.

Shouts out to Mr. Baephomael for these : the Slaanesh "guy" is the Masque.

Thanks to Captain Sanchez for some of these, and to all the other crazy guys and gals who went and snapped.

Love the sword option on the Soulgrinder, bit "hmmm" about the font on the demon text/logo. Beast of Nurgle looks better there too.

and a few more random pics from the whole GD Spain event :

The "meet Juan Diaz" appears to be in someones garage or possibly an underground carpark it would seem.

oOOHH !!!! Display cabinets.

Jesus Mike, these pics are pretty poor so far, isn't there anything here tha might grab out attention ?

Ah, that'll do it. Bet they didn't travel by bus. . I like the absolute focus in the eyes of the guy on the right too ! One day he will hurt someone, and really enjoy doing it too.

GW are getting a bit out of control with their plastic kits perhaps ?

Nice conversion there.
The following took either Gold or Bronze..... the original post and Google Translation are are bit unclear.

Caption compettition here perhaps ?

You the man, Reds. Digging soulgrinder, beefy reptilian flesh hounds (minus the frills), new fiend, Harry, the look of the demon army all together in that spearhead, and the non-28mm demonette chicks. NOT digging the 28mm demonettes, any of the demon characters shown or that the soulgrinder is apparently not pose-able? That last one hurts, but Mr. GS could make my demon engine swarm a little less identical ...

More than anything I'd like alternate heads for the Soulgrinder, it doesn't look like any of the existing Defiler heads would fit there.

Agree with you there, was saying the same thing to my bro last night. Does GeeDub really not intend to sell 3 of these to every (one of the relatively few) new demon player out there? Or just assume demonic generals like their infinitely variable and endlessly transmutating troops to look the same?

For shame, though I keep in mind that FW has promised demon engines (likely based on the defiler kit as well), so we'll see.

The daemonettes are hilarious! Can you imagine the reaction they'd garner in the Puritan US of A?

Reminds me of a transvestite I saw one dressed like a Dark Eldar Wych, actually.

The Daemonette costumes are pretty inspired, although you'd need an airbrush to get it right. Maybe if I start talking my girlfriends up to it now I'll have a treat for Hallowe'en...

So Karanak = flesh hound hero? The one with all the spikes? Might have to invest in some new hounds, wonder if GeeDub would take my old unbuilt ones for trade?

And AGAIN liking the grinder, damn is it big.

I figure since they're based off of GW miniatures it's fine.

So let's see, quick rundown.

The chaos daemon spearhead comes with

1 codex
1 big model
10 models of Khorne
10 models of Slaanesh
6 more models for Khorne
1 token Nurgle
1 more model for Slaanesh
1 more model for Khorne
"Karanak"
"The Masque"
1 more model for Nurgle

So,
1 big model
17 models for Khorne
11 models for Slaanesh
2 token models for Nurgle, and
2 models for a god to be named later

Once again, Tzeentch got Tzcrewed.

I think the Masque is the Slaaneshi Herald.
