love em, nice crisp clean painting, and like the 2 step armour highlights.

Suffused with the dying memories of Sanguinus, the warriors of the Death Company seek only one thing: death in battle fighting against the enemies of the Emperor.

After looking through these pictures for a while I actually put my vote in for green bolters. I like it and though the red looks outstanding it does give a bit more gravitas to the special guys and I like that. Sometimes I think it's better to hold off on the bestest, greatest, most amazing paint and save it for characters just so they stand out even more. Most excellently done and I'm going to try the same scheme on my tyranid warriors just because... It all looks great!

Tired of reading new rulebooks... Just wanting to play.

I think I need a lightbox or just better photography skills ... Perhaps both.

Finally finished the tactical sergent:

Very nice work, I've never thought of using white as an undercoat for my templars. Thanks for the idea.

Oh that's raelly cool! Love the one with the multi-melta! You got to include more of those little colour variations in your army, kind of like the cover of the 3rd edition 40k box!

This army looks great... I especially like your simple but effective use of red. It stands out well!

Love those conversions. Coming along nicely!

Thanks! That's the plan, I just put a missle launcher goon together and need to figure out a color scheme for him.

I think I'll call him Rocket Man.

Your army looks fantastic, it's motivated me to get back to working on my own!
It's rewarding to see the results when you finish

Nuclear: Properly pronounced new-clear, not new-cue-lir. There is no 'u' between the c and l, so stop saying it because it just makes you sound like a dumbass. This includes nucleolus, and all other derivatives of the word.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I assembled and primed some more goons today, which makes for 3 assembled tactical squads (1.5 painted) plus one unassembled tactical close combat squad.

With the HQ squad and the teminator squad waiting (mostly unassembled) in the wings and also the 5-man vanguard veteran squad.

AND I still need to purchase, assemble and paint up a 10-man assault squad.

... Hmmm, some vehicles would be nice too ... *sigh*

No pics, but at least some progress.

Thanks to all for comments and the motivation to keep slogging onward.
