Wow. I love the super realistic razorback and your captain. I'd love to play against this army. I like your color scheme and you've exicuted it wonderfully. Keep up the good work.

Yep, very nice.

Don't normally like the look of Space Marines a lot (CSM player), but these are very convincing. Grats.

Fiery the angels fell; deep thunder rolled around their shores; burning with the fires of Orc.

Armies:
Daemons: 5000+ points
CSM/Black Legion: 5000+ points
Deathwatch/Knights: 5000 points

Like everyone else says, fantastic colour scheme to these guys and very good quality painting. The only niggle I have is the occasional mould line or gap between plates that would have taken everything up to the next level if dealt with. Still. Minor niggles considering the rest. Looking forward to seeing more

Hi Lifter,

your painting appears to be drastically improving, the recent veichles arelooking awsome.

The one thing i would say is that the Marine's armour could do with a little darker shading in the recesses. they look good now, but it would add more depth.

thanks, Overlord

Endtransmission, yeah, I know. Those things really bother me but I just skip them for now and kind of force my self to live with them since they are way too time consuming to get rid of. I plan on getting a 1500p-tabletop army done before I get real picky with the guys. But thanks tho

Overlord, I think maby the recesses look lighter in the photos than they are becaus they are pretty mutch as dark as I can get them with badab wash (without them turning al black or it running over the sides). But thanks!

These are great! The colour is really quite original. BTW, does the chapter have a name?

Looking forward to seeing a Land-raider painted up with this scheme!

Yeah, these guys rock. Have you picked a name out for the Chapter yet? They kind of remind me of Raptors, which are a pretty cool chapter.

I actually really like this army. Great painting, great use of washes. You have my seal of approval lifter.

Also, like all have asked, what's the name of this chapter?

Yeah, it's a lowercase lambda, the one from the Half Life games. Couldn't think of a better one

My chapter name is "Locators" from the "Lambda Locator" achievement in Half Life 2

And here are some terminators:

There's also a Chinese character that looks an awful lot like it. It means "enter" or "put in" 入. I'm slowly learning Japanese, and written Japanese uses Chinese characters (kanji in Japanese).
These guys are awesome by the way. Love seeing the progress from the first guy to the most recent ones.

Olive drab space marines are hard to pull off (I speak from experience waaaaaay back) but the clean style, and well accented helmet colors makes this army beautiful.

And with the dreadnougths you have the dakka to make this mek happy.

Very glad you've update this thread lifter, otherwise I might have missed it. Great idea and execution on these minis. Your painting is very clean, tell me though which Vallejo paints are you using?
