Great model, decent pose, really works.
only crit i would have is the pure gold armour, if i was using it as normal khan then i would have white and gold armour

I like the model but without the bike it'll never see play. The bike is the entire point to the character, even with the rhino flanking giving him considerable mobility anyway.

You know who this guy is, right? The fact that he doesn't have a bike is just a tad relevant considering that anyone who uses him will almost definitely be taking the god-damned bike! There's very little point in taking him on foot so the fact that you can only buy the on-foot version is more than a little silly...

Other than that yeah, it's a good sculpt. But still...why?

But yeah, this character deserved a Chronus-style model more than freaking Chronus did.

Guys, I know the relevance of the bike, I guess I was just commenting on the "quality" of the figure itself.

By way of explanation, I totally agree that GW do not know how to sculpt

meh i was onsideirng getting him if he had te bike mainly so i could canniblize the bike.

without it even white scars players are hard pushed to buy the bike.

no bike = no buy
ill stick with my custom make...

Wrong , you would be right if he was the same body position as the assault marine posted.

The fact Khan have already pivoted his upper torso to that degree ( look at his chest armor position ) can only mean 2 possible actions are been followed through.

1) forward swing ( if thats the case , his arm is in wrong angle )

2) side swing ( if thats the case his pivoting foot and his head is pointed at the wrong direction )

He's walking with his sword at that angle. I just tried it with a broomstick in the mirror.. looks perfectly fine to me..

He's not raising it to strike, yet. He's not sweeping through either.. just advancing ..

Think of it like advancing and turning the torso to protect the chest from frontal attack and moving the blade to the side in order to see where he is going..

go ahead, grab a broom and give it a try..

You guys don't know what your talking about, That model looks awesome.

Also I understand why the on foot model is first to be shown and being sold first.
It makes good business sense to sell the least desirable model first, then once enough of the onfoot models have been sold release the second more desirable bike model.
they probabily have both the bike and on foot model ready to go.

@ garret - no mention of bike mounted Khan is made in new WD, just on foot Khan.

Perhaps he left his bike chained up outside the shops and had it stolen by chavs (in the UK, you can leave your bike set in concrete and it will still be stolen by chavs).

Per the studio guys at Games Day Baltimore, there's NO bike model. And it didn't sound like one was forthcoming.

They talked about how the cape & backpack are separate, so you can fairly easily saw the model in half to mount him on a bike and then use a different backpack.

They didn't state why there's no bike, but I bet I know what it is. An on-foot model can be sold in a blister. With a bike, it becomes a boxed set. Boxed sets take shelf space. And GW doesn't really want to devote shelf space to a WS special character.
