Yup. If the price were right, I'd buy 2 Warhounds.

Not nearly as interested in Thunderhawk, tho.

I'm hoping $125 or so for the Warhound(it's only 3-4 inches taller than a Stompa and slightly thinner overall), but knowing GW, I have a feeling it'll be $150.

I have some interest in a Thunderhawk, but only because I have an entire Dark Angels Company painted(plus 1st, 2nd, and 10th Company elements).

I certainly would like to see a plastic Thunderhawk - I think it would be amazing, and I'd get two so that one can be a proper Thunderhawk, and the other can be built and then smashed apart with a hammer to make a crashed Thunderhawk terrain piece.

But I'd prefer plastic Warhounds first. More practical use with them.

I think that a plastic Warhound is much more likely than a Thunderhawk at the moment. The Thunderhawk would only be specific to Space marines (Loyalist and Traitor), where as the Warhound could be used in any Imperial or Chaos force. This makes it attractive to more gamers and would therefor bring in more sales than a Thunderhawk. GW could also comfortably charge £100 for it, as it would still be three times cheaper than its FW counterpart.

I do believe the plastic Thunderhawk will come, but if it was ever likely to happen soon they would have released it with Planetstrike, as it would have been ideal for this type of book.

Even though I mostly game with Imperial armies, I feel that GW need to show the Xenos races some love, I appreciate that marines outsell everything else, but when there are limited to no new options for other armies how do they expect to increase sales? Why was there no Eldar super heavy released with Apocalypse? Why did the Tau or Nids get no love with Planetstrike? Maybe instead of releasing new codex's with half arrsed new miniatures (Space Wolves still have some shockers in the range, and the guy on the giant squirrel is laughable) they should concentrate on keeping their current ranges up to date and making sure that all options are catered for, this would keep all armies selling well instead of sporadic splurges and impulse buying of new armies which will only be abandoned later on.

More people were asking for a Baneblade than say a Scorpion or Cobra, plus the Baneblade is the excellent platform for future kits that can easily be churned out without adding too much.

While a Warhound is very attractive, a Thunderhawk is a hundred times more iconic.

What I'd really like is a Thunderbolt kit, forget about the Thawk already.

I think the Thunderhawk is far more likely. While a warhound could be used by "used" by Space Marines and Imperial Guard... they aren't suppose to be under their immediate control but more like an allie from a titan legion. I think this would be a bit of hurdle in the minds of GW design, not a big one, but enough of one to give the Thunderhawk the lead. Also the idea that the Warhound could be used with either imperial guard or marines is a bit moot; GW obviously didn't care about army use when they did the much more time/energy consuming Stompa. So why would they care now.

GW loves marines, they compose 50% of all GW's sales. Ork, closer to 5%. If a Stompa could be viable with that minor a sales percentile, Marines could support something that is exclusively theirs and is that much bigger. If GW expected to sell proportionately the same amount of Thunderhawks as they did Stompas, they could still invest 10 times the amount of money before they'd worry about their margin. So to reiterate, the notion that the marines would need to share their superheavy vehicle with other armies is moot because they are "big" enough they don't need that.

Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, "If I Die, You are forgiven. If I Live, I will kill you." Such is the Rule of Honor.
