If a friend of mine dice roll really bad, then when he gets home he will line them up infront of his drill press and drill out one as a lesson to the others.

Me. You can touch my dice just don't roll them.

My FLGS has our own superstition about models. Whenever a freshly painted model is on the field, it is doomed to die during that first game. I believe it stemmed from someone whose first game at the store was a freshly painted army, and he was annihilated through various means. He went on to win a very good percentage of his future games despite that first loss.

Oh, and if it counts, I don't think a single model has been dropped on the floor without getting stepped on and snapped off its base. Don't know if it's really a superstition, but I've seriously seen dozens of models hit the ground over the past few months, followed shortly by a *snap* sound. And of course, the one time nobody stepped on a fallen model was when an Ork player dropped his Assault Marines to the ground - that is, he didn't care about them anymore, so they obviously didn't get stepped on.

Me and my friend ALWAYS roll for first turn at least 5 times before someone doesnt get a draw.

What are missile launchers? All my Space Marines are armed with ROCKET launchers. No idea what you're talking about
Multimeltas can't hit anything. Ever. I had one game where my dreadnought-mounted multimelta hit and wounded a carnifex every turn, but in the other 20 or so games I've used it it's never hit a thing.

Yea, but ROCKs don't explode either. I arm my Marines with Explosive Projectile Launchers....but honestly it doesn't really help.

Now on the other hand, I can roll 5/6s like a madman when shooting with my Boyz' rokkit launchas

Whenever I assume for my strategy that a heavy weapon will hit, it won't.

I always fail armor saves when it really counts that I pass them.

Possesed never roll what I want on Daemonkin

Whenever two dice need to be rolled, my friend will roll double 6's except on a Shock attack gun roll.

Another one of my friends will roll a one for Wraithsight about 2/3's of the time. And he still insists on taking his Wraithlord in every battle!

When your opponent wipes everything you own off the table, and the next turn you need a two to get you last two drop pods in, you will roll ones for both of them.

When my Furisio Dreadnought deepstrikes via Drop Pod it WILL die at the beggining of next turn. Before it get's a chance to get into close combat.

Melta's, Missile Luanchers, Plasma, hell even an autocannon and Railgun (at the rear) have either destroyed or immobilised it before the damn thing got a chance to get stuck in. Only once has it survived and was able to charge into a combined Guardsman squad. That was fun.

OTOH no matter what they throw at it, the enemy very rarely kills the drop pod that the Dreadnought landed in.

I have a set of dice that are officially cursed. We tested them by test rolling 2D6 100 times (so 200 rolls). Somethign like 70% of the time they landed on a 1. I save them for Ld rolls.

My friend's furiso has two left feet. Whenever it runs, and it almost always runs, or whenever it goes through difficult terrain, it will stumble, step in a pot hole or otherwise prevent itself from ever moving more than 3 inches. 1 inch is amusingly common.

I don't know if superstitions is a good word here, but I think that most players have little nuances to their game play.
