I'd probably go with:

Tank Hunter Spearhead:
3x Railhead /w burst cannons, dpods, MT (570 points)

Seek and Destroy Spearhead:
3x Piranha /w fusion gun (245 points)

Amen to that; not to mention we have 4 vehicles and 3 of them nearly look the same.

I don't know, I can think of some cool things to do with Tau. Go for a Mechanized Assault Spearhead with Mass Attack Speared Kroot Infiltrating alongside. Take some Railguns (Broadsides or Ambusher Hammerheads, hell even Tank Hunting Ionheads) to open the armor before your infantry swarm them. Then, as your Mont'ka, Skyfalling Pirhanas and Deepstriking Crisis Teams. The Mechanized Assault Spearhead will allow you to take all Pathfinder Devilfish, but fill them with Firewarriors, so you get the free scatter reroll. Play a fast, in your face Tau.
