Thanks Jah. Dakka seems like a nice place to show off stuff that I work on that isn't non-power armored.

Generalstoner wrote:Beautiful grey. I especially like the conversions and why this army is "retired" is beyond me... to nice to not be played with.

Because I've been using the same army ever since the Space Wolf Codex was released for 5th Edition. While I still enjoy playing with it from time to time, I'm playing predominantly pure Sanguinary Guard or my mech Death Korp simply to mix things up a bit. I probably still get a game or two every month with my Wolves. Hence, semi-retired. Not full retired.

Games Workshop Scarborough Town Center. I'm going to try and convince the manager to let me put my Death Korp on display in one of the big cases too, although I dunno how that'll go (since those are for store and staff armies).

Well it's true! Every model in my Blood Angels has pointed armored nipples! I joke that my army gets power weapons because their nipples are just so damned sharp! And they're master-crafted because there are two of them on every model!

mate I appluad you for making this army, it is some of the most inspirational stuff ive seen on here for SM. Couple of questions though, how long did it take to paint that army and was airbrushing used for some models particularly the vehicles?

Leonardis Crusade 2000pts black Templar more to come

Bring back the squat - 2000 Pts of squat awesome sauce in the

I've been working on and off on the army for almost 2 years now, although there are periods where I'll paint more than others.

On average I can finish a model in a day (about 6 hours of painting), and a vehicle takes about 2-3 days. Airbrushing was used for all the basecoats and initial zenithal highlights. Everything beyond was brushwork.

Impressive. What I like the most is that the 'weathering', experience-that-make-them-look-not-so-clean, or whatever you call it, is truly believable. Superb!
