Not trying to post a "Beat this list hurr durr" just that there are competitive non cookie cutter lists. We (My friend & I) plan on being at nova next year, registration filled up before we knew it this year.

I have not seen any non cookie cutter SW lists, when i read through the codex it was easy to see why. haha.

I must disagree about someone else's comment about BA, i do see lots of viarents among BA playes, razorback assault squad spam is common, but most of the BA players I play use a bunch of different lists. some units are the same (sang priests), but the ideas and concepts are very different.

Shas'O Dorian, I've seen that list (quite close to it, but its missing a rune priest) used before, played against it...

If you take the Fenrisian wolves off the Lone Wolves, put the points into a rune priest instead, you've got a pretty stock SW list - instead of razorbacks, you're taking extra squads and fitting a Cyclone Missile Launcher in there to make up for it. Still nothing unusual.

Ah sorry, I don't have the funds to travel much but around here I have never seen that list run or anything like it among the 5 or 6 SW/BA (They swap on a daily basis) players.

Though my friend did say he wished he had room for a rune priest. Guess he must have seen it somewhere online & neglected to tell me

Fine buddy, you can play Reece He'll be bringing his pain list I'm sure and we all know your a scared of me I wasn't going to bring my SW's but I can always bring 2 armies with me. The wife is traveling so the other one is her carry-on

And I'll have you know it's not a copy of Mike's foot IG. I personally don't think Straken adds much to foot ig. But I did pillage and loot an entire thread on his forums for some of the better ideas. I start play testing here in the next few weeks.

That would be epic if I won with them, though. Leavblower is just such a crappy match-up and I am sure to run into it at a tournament of this size and Caliber. Any other match-up doesn't worry me.

Maybe I will rock the Footdar! I just won a tournament with them after not having played them in ages. I bet I'd surprise some folks. I just know I'd draw a triple manticore/hellhound list round 1! Haha, that would suck.

But honestly, I have never lost to IG with my Footdar, I've just never beat them, either!

I second the notion of Dash rematching against Stelek.

The first game wasn't decisive enough, play with full tournament attitude. (i.e. dont let him get away with forgetfulness "costing" you the game dash) Also ensure that all terrain is explained pre-game, as should be done anyway.

I think that this rematch would serve up the best chances for some lovely intarweb drama..errrrr......

....I mean it would be interesting.
