Less mining. More non-heteronormative relationships. Less grey and gritty settings. More colorful, visually interesting ones. Less of a time constraint before the finale. A return of both ME1 and ME2's surviving party members as potential recruits.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

And extra Squad member making the team count to 4 not 3.

I would love it if they made a co-op mode for the game as well. Giving the other player an companion that would normally be a npc. But I cant hope for that much in a already epic game seris.

I would Also like it if they moved heavy weapons to its own class not count it as assualt rifle.

There were also too many missions in ME2 where you board a ship/land on a research base, find everyone dead, then find it full of Husks or Mechs. And it never fully explained why there were so many rouge mechs. Mass effect 3 should only have around 1 mission where you board derelict spacecraft and find it full of zombies. (That happens in every space horror game/movie out there. Dead space, Event Horizon, Pandorum, etc.) Okay in Pandorum they weren't exactly zombies and they didn't board the ship but whatever. That movie was actually quite good for it's budget though.

In ME3 I'd also like a mission where you are part of a huge battle. In ME1 and 2 you only ever had 2 other NPC's that weren't shooting at you. There weren't even a few alliance troopers thrown in.

How do heavy weapons count as an assault rifle? Also the thing where you can't use certain weapons based on the class you are is fethtarded. And Bioware wonders why everyone chose the soldier class.

What I want in Mass Effect 3:

*INVENTORY!!!!! It should be way more managed than it was in the first game, but there should be an inventory.

*Maybe more stuff to do with credits? I just stopped opening all of those random boxes because I felt like it did nothing whatsoever.

*Vehicular exploration. I want the Mako back, and I want interesting side quests to go with it.

*Cooler planets. In Mass Effect 2, most of the planets seemed a bit too earth like, with maybe something done to the sky to make it green or orange. Also, I went to this one planet that said it had no atmosphere, and the sky was blue and full of clouds (WTF?!). And the preview of a planet the Galaxy map gives you is totally stupid, because in some cases a planet looked as barren as the moon, but when you landed, there would be frikking trees everywhere. I want more of an exploration aspect in ME3, because landing on a planet that is a sulfur choked wasteland is way cooler than a bunch of random Garden worlds.

*More weapon variety. There should be more weapons.

*No class restrictions on weapons. Not being able to use an assault rifle due to not being a soldier is completely stupid. Having a certain class should just make you more proficient with a certain kind of weapon.

*No or drastically changed planet mining. The process was incredibly tedious, and I have to admit it was way more fun in the Mako.

*I DO NOT want multiplayer, except MAYBE co-op.

*I want to be able to fly the Normandy at least once. (who doesn't?)

*Faster loading times. I mean, seriously. It is just ridiculous sometimes. Also instead of a loading screen there should maybe be a cut scene of the shuttle (or Mako if we're lucky) landing on the planet.

And last, but not least, I wanna see Tali's face.

Anyway, what does Dakka want in ME3?

I agree with all of that. except co-op. NO CO_OP WHAT SO EVAR.
I havent played the second one yet,as I just got the first one this christmas, but totaly hooked, and thus,I cant wait, for ME3.
I say there should be ALOT more inventory space.

I remember some game designer or another discussing the fact that the fighter archetype is by far the most popular class in all RPGs, and that is was thus really important to get their game play right.

I've always found it sort of odd that green-skinned space babes are somehow more acceptable romantic targets than members of the same sex.

Thematically at least I would expect homosexuality to be far more common in a society where inter-species relationships are really quite common. Though I suppose its possible that there could be prejudice in locations that rarely see members of other species.
