I really liked the smaller number of guns in 2, but it'd be nice to be able to accessorize them. IE, use different kinds of ammo as an inventory thing instead of some bizarre class ability, choose between better heatsinks or recoil dampeners, somebody mentioned an underslung grenade launcher, things like that.
If they want to keep the thermal clip based weapons, they should act like thermal clips. IE, over time they become usable again, instead of having to try and scavenge. ideally clips should act like a clip, and not some fluid thing that always has more full clips instead of half empty ones, but I've not gotten that one in any shooter, so I'll let it go.
Don't make me wait till the end of the game to get a specific character, not being able to get Legion any earlier without screwing up my eventual ending sucked for replays.
A boss fight that doesn't suck. Giant robots are lame. Giant robots that can be brought down with light infantry are even lamer.
On the grounds that Legion is the one character that can't have died in the final mission, there is no excuse for not bringing him back for the party the second time around.
Technically speaking, they would act like magazines, not clips.

^well, thechnically the thermal material is inside the holder, which is only there to facilitate it's insersion to the internal magazine, therefore it's a clip
but i'm arguning videogame semantics
and I never did like the way they were never reusable, it bugged me, do they never cool down

The thermal clip is ejected outwards like a spent magazine. I think the intention is obvious.
And that they aren't reuseable pissed me off too. Especially since the bolt action sniper rifle spent a thermal clip every shot and you never had more than ten shots with it any given time. It was bs.

Yeah, seriously, the thing where the magazines (not clips ) are still full is so stupid. You seem like the only other person in the universe who has even noticed this. It's just so common that people ignore it. I don't think there is a single game out there where this doesn't happen, and it actually is quite annoying when thought of from a realistic perspective.

The mako was fun. (I have no clue how many times i've said this is in some form or another on this site) But seriously I thought it was a pretty awesome vehicle and didn't have that many problems with the controls. The only thing that was troubling for me was backing up which could be a bit difficult on occasion.
Automatically Appended Next Post: The load times were also terrible in ME2. It took the same amount of time to load another room as it did to load an entire frikkin city.

May the the blessings of His Grace the Emperor tumble down upon you like a golden fog. (Only a VERY select few will get this reference. And it's not from 40k. )
Yes the elevators were very nice. I liked the conversations the NPCs had during these times. It would be pretty cool if they kept this going and I had to option to put a few lines in myself.
Dat ass. Also, I liked listening to the news during loading. I don't like listening to the news when I could be playing the game.
Aye, the conversations could be fun as Lord Scythican noted. Playing through ME1 again at the moment, and its not too bad, nothing that bothers me.
As to 'dat ass'
One of my fave fan pics is the entire team from ME2 watching TV, having fun, but Miranda is staring off away at a wall so you get a 'shot' It did amuse me how overdone that was in ME2, if Miranda was there in a cutscene, you could be certain the camera would find it.
edit - found the pic

@ GalatcitDefender I'm to lazy to delete half your quote but just getting stuck or getting flipped or something (I'm a bad console driver) killed it for me. If they had it optional even better!

I didn't think you could get the thing stuck. I thought the rockets got you out of spots like that.

Miranda is perfect. I swear her ass got more screen time than her face.
I admit, at first I had no idea who the girl in the middle was. Then it hit me, that it was Shepard.

Bad luck I suppose. I played the game 4 times all the way through and it never happened to me. At least it only happened a few times right? If I hated a game because of a few glitches, then Fall Out New Vegas would be the worst game ever.

Aye that was the pic I was referencing above (and hosted? - hehe) but yeah, great pic.
I have to also note I want the alien dog thing, on the ship, he wants to follow me around. Well I want to take him with me, sure he could be useful somehow.

Me and my friends had a idea. This should happen in ME3 If you didn't make it in ME2 and import your save game:
Just after the start of the game there is a brief note how humanity didn't stand a chance after Shepard died. Reapers overwhelmed the world and killed everyone. The end.
What I want in ME3? For the love of God no Mako. Don't want half of the game to be:
- super boring
- in a generic, low level graphic environment
- extremely easy (woo hoo! I can tap forward and backward once in a while. I'm immune to heavy fire)
More customization would be nice but not necessary. I prefer shooting weapons to managing my inventory.
Tali!, Legion, Garrus. Tali I'm not afraid about. With incoming Geth-Quarian war / peace we will see her. Can;t imagine those two missing.
No no no no no no to Thane. If he's there at least give the possibility of characters dying horribly.
Definitely more like the second part..
Good things are good,.. so it's good

I doubt we'll see Thane back. He had some kind of disease that was supposed to kill him very soon. The fight against the Collectors was his "final contract", remember?
Heh. The sheer amount of time the camera spent focused on dat' ass during dialogue made me laugh several times, as I pictured her talking to Shepard with her butt a-la Ace Ventura
