Shepard's mission is to save the entire galaxy. Liara's quest is pointless if the galaxy gets destroyed. Priorities lady!

She knew that. But I imagine that she would only go with Shepard if Reapers actually attacked the galaxy. Then you would eventually do loyalty mission for her.
Collector were not major threat ( like the Reapers ). That is why she didn't went with Shepard. But it turned all right at the end ( Shepard totally kick Collector ass alive or dead and together with Liara kill the most powerful person in the galaxy ).
And now Shepard is in possession of all the information in the galaxy. That's quite the PRIZZZZZZZEEEEEEEEEEE would you agree? ( if you were not killed of course ).

That would be true, if Liara's initial spotlight in the game could really be considered bad at all. 'Mediocre', at worst, but certainly not -bad-.

It's a matter of taste obviously but I felt the Liara/Kaiden/Ashely reaction of "It's been so long I don't feel like saving the galaxy anymore" wasn't strong writing but a game design choice of them wanting to use some different squad members.

Well Ashley despised Cerberus. She would've gone with him if it wasn't for them. Her response made sense for me because she was in my squad during all the 'Hunting Cerberus' missions in ME1, so she saw what they really were. Kaiden I always killed. Useless turd he was. And Liara I've covered.

We shall see, but acording to rumors - if you let council to die Asari, Turians and Salarians will all show you "the bird" when you came to ask help for Earth.
Anyway, Collectors edition and new uniforms:

More RPG. I mean, the weaponry and armour customization of the previous game, with the emphasis on shooting that the last one had. Tech upgrades for The Normandy that have an impact outside of the final mission. More planets with bigger environments, and not the same barren land-scape, but actual cities, towns, back-water tatooine-esque places with a stupid number of side-quests that don't necessarily have anything to do with the main storyline.

This. I can't believe that Bioware didn't release any modding tools considering how barren ME1's worlds were. I mean, come on. BLANK CANVAS -RIGHT- there. So much potential for towns and the like, not to mention things like space stations and whatnot. I too, hope that they do a mixture of ME1's open worlds with plenty of terrain objects, and ME2's more linear, mission oriented worlds. A map/mission builder and planet renderer would be cool too - add your own worlds/missions and share them with the community. Kind of like what Spore did with 'Adventures', only ME3 would do it with less suck Brother Coa wrote:And plus plotline that can have xxxxx outcomes + all that you said = some 50GB of hard disc space... Not much... Don't be silly. It's not that far of a stretch really, I mean ME2 was only 14Gb's initially, and I think it tops out around 16 or 17 Gbs with all the addons. Plus most off the shelf gaming PCs worth your money will come with at least a 1Tb HD. Mine did, and it cost me barely an arsehair over $1000 CAD. They could easily throw in open worlds with more features these days.

50gb? I think that may be a slight over-exaggeration. Doesn't bother me anyway, 250gb has done be fine for the 40 plus games I have.

Agreed. I would've loved to see that in all three, but oh well. Also, I have pre-ordered the collecter's edition! Automatically Appended Next Post: metallifan wrote:

I was just kidding
But realistically, first game have 15 GB, the second one 20GB. Mass Effect 3 will have 25 or 30GB for sure...
I would also love at least 100 hours to finish the game, and chance to see more planets and cities then in previous parts ( I love to look around and enjoy the view ).

Actually, the first one was 12GBs, the second was 16GBs, and I doubt the third will go any higher than 5 or 6 GBs above ME2. Otherwise, that would be a massive leap for a game fresh out of production. They'll want to leave room for DLC content. Making the game too big right off the bat really gets rid of your chances of selling more DLC, because of users with more outdated PCs not having the space to install such a huge program. A Developer's goal is to fit as much as possible into as little space as possible. No doubt Bioware is going to be trying just that.

Good point... but I must admit that I thought that there will be no Mass Effect 3 DLC's ( especially when this is the end game ). And I double checked the Hard Disk space: ME 1 = 10.4GB and ME 2 = 18GB. So ME 3 will be around 20 - 25 GB for sure...

20-25GBs is a pretty sizeable difference from the 25-30GBs guessed earlier.
And why would there be no DLC? Sure, it would be mid-game oriented, rather than endgame, but I can't see the possibility of there being no DLC as realistic.

I find it hard to conjure up what the DLC would include, as it is pretty much war in the third game, so no room for little favors for the random chap on the street. Possibly saving a group of soldiers from a cruiser shot down by a Reaper?

Only 8 months until the game arrive...
DLC will probably be some major side mission ( another failed experiment and such... ), most of them will probably be weapons.
I wonder...Because they finished the game almost 90% do you think that some bastard will steal it? ( Like Crysis 2 )

Hmmm bioware sure does have a Renegade fetish. Slippery slope is very slippery
no import saves=TIM gets base
Mac Walters: The Illusive Man [Slight Spoilers for MASS EFFECT 2 Here!] has the base beyond the Omega 4 relay, and that's very important to him, all the research that Shepard was able to obtain for him there in Mass Effect 2.
