no import saves=TIM gets base

Mac Walters: The Illusive Man [Slight Spoilers for MASS EFFECT 2 Here!] has the base beyond the Omega 4 relay, and that's very important to him, all the research that Shepard was able to obtain for him there in Mass Effect 2.

see that's just annoying, It would fit better if you had blown the base up, or have both and have Cerberus with stronger stuff if you didn't blow up the base

Maybe he built a new Cerberus Base beyond the relay to try and salvage technology from the remains of the collector base. I agree that it's all rather stupid that they just go 'Derp, somethingsomethingsomething base! somethingsomethingsomething Omega 4!" but it's not far off to bet that they would want to study the place whether Shepard blew up the collector station or not.

It sounded like he was talking in a generalized canon sense, not a counteraction of the player's choices within their own save sequence. So someone starts ME3 with no ME2 save, that's the choice they're considered to have made, while everyone else will get whatever they previously chose.

Lost in my disturbing mind...

Hey guys, I was wondering if the definitive edition was the same as the Collector's edition for ME3, As I have pre-ordered the Collector's edition

(le link http://masseffect.bioware.com/me3/game/ ).

I am wondering if the Definitive edition is the same as Collector's.
I think they are, but I just wanna be sure.

Either that was a really weak troll, or the world's largest facepalm.

Bit gutted on the base thing, from early interviews they gave, I had the impression we where all getting a comic to make any key decesions for the previous games.

Would have made it more viable just to start up a ME3 character. Now it seems I'll be stuck making up a ME1 character and bringing them all they way through, as I dislike the choices forced on a straight ME2 start as well.

Good job I have three characters finished from ME1/ME2 and another half way through ME1.
