And that they aren't reuseable pissed me off too. Especially since the bolt action sniper rifle spent a thermal clip every shot and you never had more than ten shots with it any given time. It was bs.
Clips can be ejected, I believe the Springfield was noted for exactly that.
In this case I refer to it as a clip because its a single piece. There's no magazine at all (including internally). At least, that's how it works in my head.

garand too
but there is an internal magazine in the sniper, because when you rack the bolt the new clip is already in the gun, think of each thermal clip like a shell-casing in the case of the sniper rifle
Edit, i thought you said clips CAN'T be ejected

Also, a more intelligent AI relationship system. E.g. You've romanced Miranda, but are always down in engineering talking to Tali, and taking her on missions, etc. Miranda gets jealous. Similarly, resentment breeds in the crew if they never get used. Similarly, repeated FF or saving characters from tight spots had an effect.
I realise it would be a challenge to implement. Perhaps instead of 'loyal' or not, there is a sliding bar?

I always though ME would make a good tv-show, a Star Trek for this generation. ME2 even had episodic missions, I could see one episode per loyalty mission for example. The main story planets from the 1st game could take anywhere from a few episodes to a whole season, or even small made-for-tv-movies.
Or just set the show somewhere in the ME universe.

This would never happen in the current series (ME1, 2, 3), as Shepard is the established main character. It would be silly and counterintuitive of them to just insert a pick-a-race function all "lolrandom"-like.
DLC or a mission where you play Garrus? Possible. Highly unlikely, but possible.
One thing I hope ME3 opens a gateway to is an expansion of the game franchise, though not as a continuation of the series - that would also be silly - but there's great room for them to turn the Mass Effect games into a SoaSE or EaW-style space or space/ground-level RTS. Some of the campaigns could include the Rachni wars, a Terminus Systems campaign, the fleet battles that will obviously be a big part of the backdrop in ME3, and future campaigns against yet-undiscovered hostile races.
I'd sink cash into that. I can only imagine my girlish squeals of glee as I rip apart enemy fleets with an excessive number of Dreadnoughts

I check out the BSN (Bioware Social Network) on occasion and some ME sites and from there it would seem Bioware has at some point noted they see the Mass Effect franchise/Universe continuing after the Shepard story comes to a close.
I really hope that is accurate.

but the treaty of Farixen says 5:3:1, as of ME2, humans only have 8, so that wouldn't be very good, personally I would just spam frigates and carriers

but...
don't mind me, i'm just ADMIRAL HACKETT!!!
You get to meet Hackett?!?! When does that happen?!?

I thought something crashing into the mass relay because of the extremly curved trajectory on the screen, although it's probably not as simple as either of them, due to the last pic and the "Bring down the sky" pack
or something coming through the relay, a reaper vangaurd (Arrival of the reapers )

LordofHats wrote:Or that could be Jump Zero (The space station) seeing as he has his vacuum helmet on in that pic but not in any of the other ones.
I thought jump zero is further from the relay than that
from the codex
"Today, Gagarin Station has a permanent population of approximately 9,000. A plan has been proposed to move it to the gravitationally stable barycenter point between Pluto and the Charon Relay, allowing it to serve as a gateway facility between the Sol and Arcturus systems"
Maybe they're crashing a mass relay through another mass relay
I wonder what would happen if you essentially throw a teleporter into another teleporter.
"Order. Unity. Obedience. We taught the galaxy these things, and we shall do so again."

what I can tell is it seems to be split into a least two (possibly three) sections: the facility seen in pic 1, (scene seen out the windoe behind the computer(possibly planet in pic 1, but it's not raining)) and an orbital facilty around the relay.
maby we'll get to fight ON THE RELAY!!! that would be cool, they can be accessed inside, it's what kicked off the first contact war
--wait--
what if we have to deactivate a relay(they can be disactivated, i think) before some BBEG comes through it
what if we have to deactivate a relay(they can be disactivated, i think) before some BBEG comes through it
I have a solution!
We will take asimo's idea, and send one mass relay through another, destroying the relay on the other side when they crash into each other! It's so perfect it's flawless.
